@Smokey
Exactly! It should be about whether you are a good match for a horse, not whether they're the biggest! I guess I don't really have to feel consciencious about riding small horses though because my barn is full of tiny Morgans :P The shortest horse here is probably under 14hh and the largest (Excluding Ajax the ginormous Freisian) is probably around 15.2hh.

The tallest horse I've ever ridden is 17.1hh and she was a sweetheart ^_^ I felt so happy on top of her and comfortable despite how high up I was x3
At the stable where I ride there's horses between about 12hh and 17+hh :3
Such a range ^_^

Height: guys I'm like 5'10". So I like riding bigger horses. But I ride 14.3 all the time. First horse I rode was that height. Stevie :3 and I loved him. Even if he wasn't my height. Phin is like 15.2-15.3. Which is better to be on a bigger horse since most I rode aren't. Then Bert is like 17hh :3 I loved that. But I didn't ride him much. His jumps were huge an his stride wa ginormous when cantering! But havanna isn't more than 15 and she's got the tiniest belly so it's harder to hold on but I ride her well. Tonight I'm doing half riding an half trail riding. I'm excited. Probably just walkin through a bunch of fields but that's okay xD

I'm probably most comfortable on the 14.2- 15.2 range. I like them real agile and turney too, cause I loooove jumper courses, and crazy wild ones c:

My birthday is coming up, and hopefully I'll be getting a nice camera that i've been asking for! and if I do, I promise that I'll take it up to the barn and take a bunch of good pictures and post them on here! It'll be awesome!

@Hime: Any baby news?? :D

Actually... Heta foaled this morning! :D I got text from L at 7am, that we have new arrival. Apparently she had gotten there 6.30 only to find wet foal lying next to Heta, and I think the placenta had passed as well since when I got there little after 7.30 the foal was totally dry and the placenta was outside and L said Heta managed to eat little of it as well, so that's little tricky as now we can't be sure that it all came out(but I think it did). Heta pretty much handled everything by herself and was sneaky as well since at 3 am she was eating peacefully with 0 signs of foaling. But the sucky part it's a chestnut colt. XP Gee thanks Heta, though he's totally adorable as he apparently got his mother's eyes and face. <3 Heta wasn't her usual self in the morning(probably sore, tired and slightly shocked), but when I said good night to her she was more herself already. She's also being very good momma, not fussing at all but still takes good care of her boy. The little colt is very brave and friendly, and very demanding for milk. XD His pattern was about nap 10-15 minutes, have a drink and walk around, drink again and go to sleep, repeat. He got to go outside for little time today, since we took the older one as well and then L and R were like, oh let's take the little guy out as well. :o He was little shocked at first, but Heta could careless when she got to the green grass. XD Heta kept nickering to him really quietly all the way out and then when we went back in she kept talking to him as well. He also followed momma back inside like a pro.
More pictures to come(as I got someone to snap few for me when we were outside, since I was holding Heta). I've been out of house(=at the stable) since 7.10 am and it's over midnight now and I got home maybe hour ago. So SLEEP now.

So I haven't been on CS at all lately other than to check this thread once in a while to see if Heta has foaled! I am so so excited for you, Hime! The baby is so completely adorable, he made me gasp when I saw his face. What a cutie! And you're right, he does look like his mother! I am so so glad that everything went smoothly and safely. What a pro Heta is! That is so so exciting. I bet you just want to live at the barn now to be with them.

Best of luck, Hime! He's gonna be a stunner when he's all grown up ;)

Ooh, congratulations, Hime!! He's adorable, though I'm sorry he's not the filly you wanted. Heta sounds like such a good mama <3. Does he have a name yet?

Bleh, it was muddy at the barn today, and I left my muck boots home so I completely trashed my sneakers. We were scooping out the paddock today, and when I went to dump the wheelbarrow on the manure pile, my feet sunk about two inches into slimy slush. But other than that, it was good. I have my lesson on Lacey Friday, and hopefully it won't rain, so I'll get to use the outside ring.

@Hime- OMG Yayayayay! I've been waiting forever for this moment forever and I don't even own them! x'D I guess I'm a big Heta fan because I love her breed. <3 And because no one on this thread that we all know well has had their horse foal before. So that's exciting!
You'll have to keep us updated on the little guy and post lots of pictures, we're all dying to see more of him! Do you plan on keeping the cutie? And what are you going to name him?
