@Elizabeth: Thats really cool, does each horse do a few specific sports or are they trained in all of those?

Well all of them can do every thing but some are better at some sports then others like grizz is a great cattle roper and cattle cutter but hoji is amazing at barrel racing, pole bending and raining then red and lucus are mostly our english horses so they do those sports and Eddie is good in trail class he stays real calm.

Doing a showjumping day tomorrow. Probably 50 or 65cm as he's not long back into work. See how he goes :3

@gam gam: Benson looks quite big and sturdy guy, but also very sweet and gentle.
Horse, not pony, though I call her pony all the time, so doesn't really matter. XD -6C is still quite pleasantly cold for me, unless it's windy. Yup, horses are the best warmes in winter. Like while I ride I might stick my hand under Heta's mane to warm up my fingers a little. Or after riding before taking the saddle off, putting my hands under it on her back, so nice and warm. Or the best way to stay warmer, riding bareback. XD

@Hano: Ohh! New horse. I'd like to hear too.

@Mr.Milo: I think I have couple other free lunging videos of her in my photobucket, but on those she's mostly going crazy gallop around. XD This time she was little more civil, for while at least... I'd like to get more video of, especially under saddle, but don't have anyone that could film it for me. So my only shot is when I free lunge her and she actually listens more or less, so that I don't have to chase her around myself. XD Her offical registered color is flaxen red chestnut. She's pretty dark shade in winter, and especially on those videos since it was getting dark already and the snow messes up the shades some, but in summer she kinda goes this orangy shade of chestnut instead.

I think I'm having another no riding day... Temps dropped really low during the nigh and it's still under -25C where the stable is, during the night it went down to -33C there. It's little warmer here where I live, at the moment around -20C. XP It's supposed to get warmer up to -14C during the day, but I don't know if it will...

Hime: oh gosh that's cold! But all this week where I live it is onlu going to get in the low twenty's to mid teens! Yeah probably not a lot of barn time xD By the way, I say on your foal count down that Heta's dew date is only 4 months away!!

riding Mr. Robert today :] And my dad is going to take some pictures! Oh, and I got to ride on Thursday. It was really by luck that I go to. I will expand on it later.

@Blue: I know! I'm getting excited.

Chore I'd never have to do again: Ugh... Carrying full water buckets outside or to the lower stable, or dragging peat bales. Though I could skip the stall cleaning process in total to be honest. XD So either water buckets or stall cleaning.

I have been meaning to post pictures of the show I was in a few months ago to get some critique but since I had my wisdom teeth pulled and I can not ride for three weeks, I have decided to ask how do I stay on top if everything I was learning?

I wish I could ride today. I asked for a lesson last night, and my instructor said that there were some Saturday spots open on Wednesday. She told me a few minutes ago all the morning spots were taken and she's busy this afternoon. I'm hacking Thinker tomorrow though and since Monday's MLK's birthday and there's no school, I'm hopefully going to have a lesson before drill team practice. I'm so excited to work on cantering again and more bending and shoulder-in if we have time!

Cleaning stalls or cleaning tack are the chores i hate the most!

Hauling water buckets is my least favorite! Especially in winter, because I always manage to spill it on myself and then I'm freezing for the rest of the shift. And I always feel like I'm not doing my share because all the other girls take two buckets at a time, but I only do one because of my bad arm.
