Smokey: What is with me and missing your posts 0.o lol Yeah I'm fine with it, I just will have to wait till my parents go out xD I'll check out that brand, thanks :)

Milo: Ooo okay, I'll look at that brand too. I was thinking about rope halters, but Robert really doesn't need one. He doesn't pull or anything. So I'm going to stick with nylon I think.

Hello every one,
I own 6 horses 2 quarter horses 2 saddle breads and 1 Arabians, and one minuture horse. I ride all the time but I dont know much about tack, this seems like a fun topic to be in and honastly I always like to talk about my horses. :)

I have a black quarter horse named Griz who is my horse then we have another quarter horse named Eddie who is brown, A black and white Saddle breed witch at the moment is being trained, a red saddle breed named Red, and a white Arabian named Hoji. I also have a minuture horse but I forgot the breed named Kicks.I also work for this girl who has 16 minuture horses and 4 regular horses.

My internet's been down and I'm on my iphone right now, so I don't really have that much time to reply to anyone, sorry :( but I wanted to post about my lesson today :)
Thinker was antsy and super fresh before I rode, so I lunged him and he calmed down a lot. Got on and when I trotted him my leg legit didn't move unless I was asking him to keep going. My hands have gotten better but I'm still working on them. Thinkers fattened up and I got him into frame and collected at the walk :) my instructor also taught me some bending and she's going to introduce me to shoulder in next lesson since I got bending really quick. We also worked on the working walk and we did good :) His trot was PERFECT. Nice and big and beautiful. His canter was pretty rough. Since I haven't ridden in three weeks, we cantered on the lunge line, and boy was my seat bad at the beginning haha it was everywhere but my legs were surprisingly fine. We cantered a few more times and it got better towards the end. Thinker being the goof he is jumped a pile of poo that he left in his lunge path and it was the funniest thing ever except I got left behind. We got off the lunge line and he was sooo energetic and his trot was huge so my instructor taught me a little extended trot and we did that a few times :D it was the best feeling ever, it felt so floaty and plain awesome. Sunday were signing up for schooling shows, I'm working on memorizing my tests :)
My instructor complimented me a lot towards the end when we did a little extended trot and then working regular trot. She said if she was a judge, she's give us an 8 or 9. I literally almost cried. A few months ago I never thought I'd be able to do these things with a horse like Thinker, but I am, and were going to excel, I know it. She told me that he and I make a great team and he seems very confident and happy with me, compared to this other guy that rides him. That made my entire year and I had to give him a big hug. :) this horse stole my heart, I swear.

@Mr.Milo:
You bet he is!!! <3 I just want to go to HyperGlow period! lol. I really can't pick one to be my favorite. I love them both a lot! Like, the f the neighborhood one I love it when Tyler says: "Uh..Sorry", I think that is pretty hot!. But I love the HyperGlow one too. My friend and I pretty much decided we are going to have a dump truck pool party, as well as having one of those waterslides. <3 <3 <3 I actually looked into some neon glow in the dark body paint and the stuff is like $55 just for 6 tubes, and it is only 1oz tubes. Pretty ridiculous! lol.

@Blue:
Haha no problem! What brand were we talking about? Sorry, i have terrible memory! lol.

@Weekend:
I am so excited for this weekend! We are partying again! And my friend and I started a full on dare competition just now. Whatever we dare each other we both have to do it, (or whoever can chicken out), and we already did our first dare by sending a friend request on facebook to this guy who is in complete love with me. He isn't actually that bad looking, but he is a freaking senior, and I am a freshmen....And he has a girlfriend and continues to hit on me so we have this deal going where we completely make fun of him (: haha He is a pretty funny guy though. Whatever. I will probably delete him as a friend as soon as he accepts! lol. Also, I am going to dare this other not so bad looking guy (my age (: ) to wear my bracelet tomorrow. It is pink and grey and all diamondy and stuff. Lol. I wore a green one just like it today and he was like: "Thats a pretty bracelet" I was like "Thanks..." and he was like "Can I wear it?" I was like "o.o No....." lol. So tomorrow I am getting my other one for him to wear! (: I love cowboys who act like that. We seriously have to go buy some more mountain dew though because we drank all of it. Haha. Some days I swear we should have people videotaping us!!!
There's something to be said for a place that hasn't had all the rough rode out of it.

@Blue: that sounds good, if you don't like any of the centaur then i would just look for the one with a good price and good review. It all depends on how it will be treated. Some people complain that the strap breaks or metal piece came off but sometimes its not always the way the halter is built it could be because it was dropped or pulled on too hard. But it's whatever you decide!^^

@Smokey: Ya that neon paint was really cool but i can't believe its so expensive! and i think making a pool out of a dump truck is the smartest idea ever, some of the things they do in that show looks soooo fun. But i like how the guys were tyring to show Tyler not to be such a pretty boy and began daring him to do all these things. Oh that sounds like in interesting week, i can't wait to hear who windsand what the final dare will be!^^

@Elizabeth: wow that is alot of horses, what kind f sport do you do with them?

@Mochele: Thats great that he is getting fatter. But thats is so funny that he jumped over his poo, he definetly did not wan't his hooves to get dirty!XD I remember when you told us that you would start riding Thinker soon, you guys have come so far and were just meant for each other. You look awesome on him!!

@Toppyrocks: Thanks! 2'9" was a big feat for me and I'm so glad I finally got to jump it on such a wonderful horse as Shelby. It was so much fun, I swear in those 5 strides in between the 2'6" and 2'9" I felt awesome. 5 strides was all it took, 5 strides to FINALLY jumping 2'9" after more than a year of 2'6". It was great. I could have sworn I was flying, it's amazing how much difference 3 inches makes. Old granny Shelby is such a trooper and the most athletic and overall perfect horse I know. Amazing.

I'm just frustrated right now. I cannot find my missing puzzle piece, I cannot find a perfect horsey match. Shelby and I work well together, but we have no basis relationship even after asserting myself as much as I can, she still tries to bite me. It's in her nature. Cooper is amazing. Really amazing. But I can't ride him until he's straightened out a bit. I'm just confused. Why is it so hard for me to find one horse and stick with him or her? They ways get sold and leave right when we really start to work together. I can only ride once a week. I don't have a say in these things. It's been this way ever since patsy left, so for about 3 months I've been horse hopping. And it sucks.
Okay, I don't show. In fact, I don't even really like to show. I just want to ride because I love it and that's all. Is that so much to ask?

@dolphin: congrats on your show!

@everyone- I am so sorry. So deeply sorry I've been so neglecting to you guys. I really wish I could join in the conversation and stop talking about myself but I'm finding it increasingly harder to partake, this thread goes by so fast and things like homework and grades and things like that keep getting in my way. Sorry for using this as more of a rant thread when everyone should be equal in terms of attention, I'm sorry. I love you guys, ill reply to everyone soon :) I'm just not feeling well right now.

@Dolphin
Oh my goodness! Congrats!

@Monchele
Sounds like your lesson was awesome! If you have any questions or "what should I expect/be thinking about?" concerning shoulder-in's and or hanches in, feel free to ask!

JJ was pretty good yesterday. t's been so frigid here that I haven't been able to see him for a week, so I was surprised that he was as good as he was XD In preparation for the upcoming clinic, I was practicing, shoulder-ins, haunches-in, leg yields, half-passes, turns on the forehand, turns on the haunches, and canter departs from the walk. I think JJ still must be a little sore from his shoeing, because he was AMAZING one direction and terrible the other direction :s Also, he didn't want to do turns on the forehand (Like, he just sat there while I dig my heel into his flank :|) which he always did AMAZINGLY before. I got on and off him a few times, pushed his hindquarters around in a turn on the forehand than got back on to kind of demonstrate what I wanted, but he wouldn't budge :| After my mother was done with Caper, I waited for her to come in so I could get some help, and she hopped on JJ to see what was the matter. Well, she had difficulty too, but got an alright turn after a few minutes, and I stayed on the ground and pushed JJ's hindquarters around to demonstrate again. He did it excellently, so I got back on and had some mild success, but only in that one direction. So, even though it was a little frustrating with him being a pill one direction, I feel bad because I think he's still sore. I don't want him to be in pain, so hopefully he'll be less sore on that side soon <3 After the ride, I got on him bareback and practiced some turns on the haunches up and down the isle with only his halter on and the lead rope which wasn't attatched to both sides XD He was awesome, and did a bunch of perfect turns on the haunches. After that, I snook some extra mash to the Ajax, the Fresian, and to Alec, who's my horse crush because I'm in love with his confirmation :B

Gam: Aw I'm sorry. I think we all understand what you mean. Sometimes all you need to get out is how you feel. It almost feels like this thread is a "horse-related family" xD Someimes we just need to let it all out to people who understand. So don't feel bad :) <3 wow, 2'9"! congrats!!

Opal: I'm glad you got to finally see JJ, even though your ride wasn't perfect. It does sound really good for him not being ridding in a week!!

________
Hopefully, hopefully I will get to ride today. I was going to have a lesson-or so I though. I haven't been able to get in contact with my new trainer. So I will go down to the barn and at least clean Robert's stall. Hopefully his owner will be there and say I can still ride. <3
