@owllover I absolutely love gardneri killifish. I would love to have them, but the shops around here don't sell them and I don't have the money to buy them on aquabid. Here's some pics!

My favorite would have to be the Black Ghost Knife Fish. I just love the way they move and think they are
so pretty. It's a real shame they get so big though...I probably won't get one because of that.

Far Far to many to list, but I've always had a fascination with Eels and Rays if that counts ovo

Are those a kind of guppy? My mom had hundereds of those, or ones that look JUST like those when she was a kid and lived in Orgieon.
Like she didn't own them, but when people didn't want their aquatic pets anymore they woulkd dump them in the live spring, it was safe + healthy for all fish though, and it was super big so it wasn't like over stocking the spring or anything. But anyway, people that wanted pet fish would just go down there and catch them, they would live for a really long time but they were mostly just guppies and other fish like tetra and stuff. But the Guppies where neonny like that in the pictures.

Heylow everyone.
So I know I said I'd post pictures last night, but I was just so dang tired after work so they are coming now.
Like I said I moved everyone out of the 55 into the sorority tank, turns out that my smaller platy is a female as well so it really is a sorority tank. My two betta gals are doing well so far, Nike is a little temperamental towards the fry, but after a bit she just goes in her cave and watches. Luna is much more laid back and doesn't really care about the non betta fish in the tank, she's more curious about Nike and she goes in Nike's cave with her, it's really cute. Luna doesn't nip at her or anything, she just wants to be near her. I'll try to take better pictures of the sorority tank in the next couple days, the water still has a slight tint to it from the medication.

These were taken yesterday morning after all the cleaning.

This was taken today when I managed to catch my Swordtail gal not being a spazz.
She needs a name...

And I brought my oscar home! I haven't had a chance to take any good pictures of the whole tank with him yet. Last night he was pretty stressed from the move and just laid behind the piece of lava rock in the tank. In the middle of the night I noticed him starting to check things out, and this afternoon when I got home from work he was swimming about being a little more bold. So hopefully by the time I get home tonight he will be more relaxed, it would be nice to get some better pictures of him.

Ollie the Goldie has been spending all his time at the top of the tank- I noticed when I first got him he was doing this as well. There is a lot of water movement going on with a filter and bubble wand but otherwise I don't know what's going on or could be wrong with him.

How many gallons is your tank? : 20 gal
How many fish and what types are they? : 1 single tail comet named Ollie
How long has it been running? :just under a year- around 8-9 month
Did you cycle it? : I did when I first set it up yes- I also recycled my new filter for 2 weeks.
If possible what are the ammonia nitrite and nitrate levels? : I don't know but they would be low. 100% water change yesterday night.
What is the issue or question? : Since the first day I got him, Ollie has always been at the top of the tank swimming around. We will only go just under the water but never to the bottom. He swimming is fine and I have lured him to the bottom with food and he can keep himself down and keep himself straight so I don't know why he would be at the top. There is a lot of water movement so a lot of gas exchange.

20 gallons is small for a single tail goldfish.
By water movement, do you mean there is disruption at the surface? Because the disruption is what really helps gas exchange, not just water movement. He might need more oxygen.
100% water changes are hard on fish. You should do more frequent, smaller water changes.
He also might just like the top of the tank.
