finally quitting. I've told myself I'll quit soon, and I never did, but I finally feel like I should quit. Still keeping my characters/deviantart though. I've wanted to quit for a long long time, but I'm doing it.
Nobody on here talks with me , is friends, and I try to chat on the FR thread but nobody responds much.

Hello, I suppose I could join here too. ^^

How many tanks do you have: 1x 128 litre running, 1x 88 litre empty
Type of fish that you have: None yet, planning on cories, blue neons and pair of dwarf cichlids for the 128 litre. Nothing yet for the 88 litre.
Your fish's names:-
How long have you had fish: My first tank ever ;D Started it up today finally.
Picture taken today, maybe 5-10 minutes after filling it up. :3
The plants were planted only today so it's still really empty looking(plus I need few more plants...). I'm going decoration shopping tomorrow though. ^^ The two plants in front middle are also just temporary planted there, anubias especially as it's now only tied to it's pot which is held down by small rock.

@Dakotak Sorry, forgot to reply, lol. Anyways, they're even prettier than I remember. I'm glad you still have them c: I personally have never heard of anyone keeping goldfish alive for more than maybe 2 weeks...but I suppose that because they don't understand that the need a lot of room etc.

You've never heard of them living for more than two weeks? That's some seriously poor care...
When I was younger I kept 3 single tails (from the fall fair; I won them) in a like 4 gallon tank. They lived for about 6-8 years. (note that I was about six; I didn't know any better and my parents didn't either)

How were the ones you've seen kept? Just curious; I've never heard of them dieing so quickly tbh.

Hello, Hime! You need to keep us updated! Setting up tanks and aquascaping are some of the best parts! And BTW I really love your substrate it looks so natural, I want some! :P

Your future fishie family will love it. :)

How many gallons is your tank? : 20 gal
How many fish and what types are they? : 1 single tail comet named Ollie
How long has it been running? :just under a year- around 8-9 month
Did you cycle it? : I did when I first set it up yes- I also recycled my new filter for 2 weeks.
If possible what are the ammonia nitrite and nitrate levels? : I don't know but they would be low. 100% water change yesterday night.
What is the issue or question? : Since the first day I got him, Ollie has always been at the top of the tank swimming around. We will only go just under the water but never to the bottom. He swimming is fine and I have lured him to the bottom with food and he can keep himself down and keep himself straight so I don't know why he would be at the top. There is a lot of water movement so a lot of gas exchange.

Nope, save for people I've met online. I've never really heard of anyone that I personally know in RL keep them alive long at all. As for how they're kept...fish bowls.
