Yes, its a very good size ^^

you'd be able to maybe have a friend for him in there as weel like a snail or shrimp. Not sure about anything else though.

you could have even more with a 10 gallon, but five is a good size. If you divide the dank, you could even get another bette for the other side :) as 2.5 is about the smallest you should go with a betta.

5G is great! ! ^-^ That's what I currently have one of my boys in. Anything smaller and he becomes lethargic and depressed.

Does anyone here have experience with saltwater, specifically nano reefs?

For some reason i want to start up a 10 gallon saltwater, but i have no experience and no idea where to start. I heard a good suggestion fish-wise is two ocelus clowns? something like that, or a damsel. Gobies are also highly reccomended by the marine owners on the forums i've browsed on.

Looking on this one site under the "nano" section those above mentioned fish are perferred in a larger tank.

I was thinking of trying a nano tank first to get a "taste" of what saltwater is like before i would invest in something bigger. i've been owning fish for about 12 years now, freshwater. I think im ready to try something new.

Like i said, i have no experience, whatsoever and need as much help as possible that isn't in a huge article that seems to ebb on and on for a while. Maybe a list of supplies and an explanation? Maybe a good video? Long articles are fine, by my previous comment , i meant not like a novel or somethingthat will take me three hours to read. Maybe something where terms are defined with pictures?

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong with my gold fish. I have had him for a few month and he's growing fine, his fins are up and he's healthy but when I weighed him he weighed only 1 gram (uk) and his length was 3inches without his tail and 5inches with his tail. Is this a okay weight or should I feed him more/less?

Also, with him being a comet he is bi coloured, his tail was gold with a white end, but I have noticed he has gotten little lines in it, should I be worried about this?

What colour are the lines? And what size tank is he in?

Don't know about tank size, it was changed and I lost track. Think he has around 19gal to swim away in so it's a 20gal around about. I will put him in a smaller tank to take photos to show you.
