My guppies just gave birth. There are 3 babies so far. When can the older fry go in with the adults? Oh, and how big of a tank would guppy fry need? Would I be able to keep 6 guppies and 2 corys in a 10 gallon? If not, how many gallons would I need. Thanks, have a good day, and thank you for the help. Oh, also, when do guppy fry get color?

That tank size is fine ^^ I'd put the guppies in with the adults as soon as they're big enough not to be food. They get colour between 2-3 months I think (my memory sucks; but no longer than that for sure. Might be 1 month). From my experience, males colour faster than females.

Fry also grow faster in warmer water ^^

Alright, thanks. I'm just soooo worried that I'm gonna overstock the tank. How many guppies can I have in it? The babies are in a tank no cooler then 75 degrees. How big do they need to be? My older fry are a couple weeks old. Thanks for the information.

As far as I know, I think it'd be fine. Do you have live plants in your tank?
Saltwater lighting is to encourage coral growth and bring out the colors of the fish. If you have live plants, you'll want to stick with florescent because the saltwater light will do nothing for your plants.
:3 Hope I helped! ^^

Yeah, its just light. It'll probably boost algae growth though, and make anything nocturnal that can't hide unhappy.

it depends on the size of the adults. Just make sure the fry are bigger than the adults' mouths and you're good. In a ten gallon with two cories, I'd say six is good; you could maybe have eight. More would be a bit overstocked.

Alright thanks ^^

If i want my setup to be how i want it ill have to use the florescent then. Was planning to have "skull" ornaments with plants growing out the eyes so the bulbs are protected. Obviously ill wait for them to be at a healthy size first before planting them.

Are there any other types of light that i could use? I am open to other options.

I'd have to disagree say that eight might be a little bit too much.
In a ten gallon with two cories, I'd say around five guppies would be okay. Maybe six.

and another question: Is there any specific methods for introducing goldfish? I'm planning on getting another to put in my new tank, but I don't want them to fight.

Goldfish aren't agressive
They might be curious and chase each other abit but they don't fight ;)

Well technically almost any animal can be aggressive... I just don't want to stress them out.

And one final question (sorry for so many)
Can fancy tail and single tail goldfish live together?

They can but its best not to house them together. Like one user posted (sorry on moble cant look up your name) single tails are much faster than fancys and will out compete them for food. Single tails are also more active during breeding and if they cross breed the fancy can be extremely stressed out.

Aslong as all the goldfish are healthy and in the correct setup you shoulnt have any issues introducing?
