Guys, I just thought of something.

I was thinking of how there are horse art contest and shows, would anyone be interested if I start a fish art show thread? You know like for "shows" where we would draw or order art if our fish that we have in real life and have contests. Each fish would get a "ribbon" showin what place it won. The thread would have the following catagories,
Betta
Best in show - beginner, novice, exepert - all based on lever of art you think you can draw
Best effort - beginner, novice, expert
Best coloration - beginner, novice, expert
Best fins - beginner, novice, expert

Goldfish

Guppies

Saltwater

Koi

Freshwater

All would have the same catagories, but for those who have shown fish before could definitely be the mods!

What do you guys think? Anyone interested?

I think you draw a pic of your fish and then you get a ribbon. I have a betta editor that you guys could use if you want. I also think there should be a strict rule of only drawing your fish.

oops...the water flow in my tank keeps spawning from happening...well except behind the filter and that is where my male made a small bubble nest and might have spawned with my yellow female...I will keep you updated.

the betta next to the heater is the male and the yellow one in the front is the female(ignore the blue one between them)

There was no spawn. She wa acting odd and as it turns out she had dropsy. My others might too so wish me luck i dont want them to did and the one i put down was my favorite

Luckily, dropsy isn't contagious. I think a common cause is poor water quality. Check your water and do a big change. Usually, if the scales aren't sticking out (compare an image of your fish from the top to a pinecone - if the fish looks like a pinecone, it's usually too late) they have a chance to recover.
I had a balloon molly get dropsy after I was gone for three weeks. She looked like a little pinecone. After water changes every day for a week, she more or less recovered. Although she kept getting it again until she finally died.

Guys, is there any way I can clean my siphon so I cause it again, just incase that one tank has tiberculosis? Luckily that was the last tank we cleaned last cleaning.

Try a bleach solution. I don't know the ratio, but you could probably find it on the internet somewhere.
Bleach solution and then rinse with treated tap water.
