How many tanks do you have: 1
Type of fish that you have: Zebra Danios (tequila sunrise guppies very soon.)
Your fish's names: Taco and Paco
How long have you had fish: fish in general about 8 years, these 2 danios about a month.
Also if you have pictures of you fish we would love to put a link to them next to your name! If you have a tank with a lot of fish you are welcome to just put a picture of your tank. Please do not post the pictures on the actual forum since they do take up space; just the link will do! I have pictures, but my computer is broken and I can't post pics here with my iPod.

The thing that hangs my filter on for the 26ltr has gone missing.
Anyone got any ideas on what I could use to hang it on untill I find it?
Its an interpet internal power filter.
I really need to move my guppy into it ASAP, he's the last one I have left so I really need to get some more, but I aint gonna risk it in the divided tank again.

Also, my 54ltr should be ready to move my community fish into by the weekend :D Which means I can get female guppies again!
I saw some stunning girls yesterday, but I'm pretty sure most of them were heavily pregnant (some deffinatly were). Which wouldnt be a problem, if we wernt going on holiday in two weeks. My brother will be coming to feed the fish, but wont be able to move them in/out of breeders traps if they start giving birth.
Any ideas what I could do to prevent the babies getting eaten if they give birth while were away? I have a few of those plastic traps that can be divided, and a net one. And I have plently of plastic canvas to make tank dividers, though I'm not sure what count it is off the top of my head.
Some of them looked fit to burst, so they may give birth before we go, but I'd like to be prepared, just in case.
But, if there isnt anything I can do, then I'll just have to wait to get some till we come back.

I got three female guppies. One of them is pretty damn pregnant. All three are pregnant. One is absolutely massive, looks like thes about to burst, so it wont be long before she gives birth. Other two arnt as big, though one is slightly bigger than the other, I'm guessing theyre about 2-3 weeks. With any luck, they'll give birth before we go on holiday. Gonna have to get some new traps though, half the lids/divider/suckers are missing for the ones I have.
I also got a stunning pink betta, with blue flecks in his tail/fins and a few blue scales. Yeah, he was a complete impulse, but I just couldnt resist XD Got him from a different shop, and I'm going back there for male guppies and next week...and possibly some more females...possibly including some more pregnant ones.

Still need help with both questions, especially for the filter, so anyone got any ideas?

:c Another guppy died. Only 2 left now. Don't even know what's happening. Went on holiday, everyone was fine before we went, he died the day after we got back :B Really hope it's not a thing.
Also have a tetra that's very probably dead. But that was just a freak accident. There was some very scary slime with an eye squished to the back of the filter.
You cannot eat love, nor buy a horse with it, nor warm your halls on a cold night

I have nerite snails. c= You can buy algae wafers to supply food, and they also need calcium in their water, so maybe a cuttlefish bone or a calcium block can help with that. If you notice that their shells are breaking then that could mean that there isn't enough calcium/the water isn't hard enough. c; They don't need a light, but they do need oxygen because they are air breathers. They will come out of the water occasionally though for air if needed. Nerite snails like warm water but most of them seem fine in cold water, like mine. =3 Just be careful not to overfeed with substitues as you could end up with some unwanted things in the tank such as detritus worms. ( That's what happened to me ^^' )

Thank you very much! <3

Guys! I saw a picture on Tumblr of a molly/guppy cross with cobra markings. I want to get some female mollies and try to breed some now. So badly! D:

Edit to add this. Look at him, you guys! He's purty! lol

Oh, thats quite similar marked to a guppy I'm hoping to get next week!
I didnt know it was possible to crossbreed guppies & mollies, I thought it was only guppies & endlers that could cross. I'd really love to try to breed those though, but I dont have room for the mollies. Plus, I really dont trust them.
Hmmm....I'm getting some bumble bee platies for my 54ltr, do you think crossing them & guppies would work?

On another note, I'm gonna post pictures of my female guppies, my new betta & my 54ltr soon.

Hey guys, my Glo Zebra Danio's back seems like its bent inward? She's acting perfectly normal and swimming perfectly normal too. I can't tell if maybe she's just pregnant or really fat or what. None of the other fish in her tank have this.
"I try twice as hard and I'm half as liked, but here they come again to jack my style."
In real life I have 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 rabbits, 26 rats, 2 gerbils, 2 cockroaches, 1 turtle, 1 axolotl, and 8 fish.

Sounds deformed. If you post a picture, it'd be more helpful. But, yeah, probably a deformity. Sounds just like a deformed white cloud I once saw.

http://sta.sh/02alu2kxokjw that's the best picture I could get since she's so fast and my other fish were crowding up right in front of the camera lol. I don't think it's a deformity, ivehad her for a year and she didn't look like that before. It just started about a week or two ago and seems to be getting worse.
