How come my betta boys hate the 5 gal? They have more space and all they do is go back and forth at the front, like they are trying to escape. Occasionally he'll go up to the top, but Ranger, when he was in there, just lied at the bottom and didn't do anything. What's wrong with them? Or is it my tank?

How many decorations do you have in the tank? If you only have a few, you can try adding more. They may feel insecure not having enough hiding places.

My most awesome dream tank would be Walking Dead themed hahaha

This idea crossed my mind when I came across a helicopter wreck decoration and instantly thought
of the third season XD
That would be so awesome!!

And to the fish catching topic, my betta practically swims into the net himself now xb I take him out everyday to feed him separately than my Tetras. He just eats faster and I don't want him hogging all the food or eating too much of a food not designed for him! ^^

Plus, it's a lot easier to catch one betta than six tetras....that are extremely fast XD

He looks JUST LIKE my betta, King Jonathan Wolfgang Medic the 1st.

Also, quick fish question for toboe:

Jonathan has been hanging out at the bottom of the tank lately. I do see a little biofilm on the tank decor I have for him. I am just worried.

I've got three plastic plants, two small and one large. I've got a large rock (but it's kinda flat) and an ornament that resembles wooden driftwood that is about the size of a dragonfruit.

Speaking of colors....I saw a beautiful Blue and white Beta for sale on Yourube. It was so pretty.

So, I was looking at a pet shop at the Betas an guess what.....

They had a male King Beta in a Female transport cup...they thought it was a female. And it was only $2 instead of $30

Too bad I don't have another tank at the moment.

When I bought girls for the sorority, I hadn't realized my Crowntails were all labeled as Veiltails until I got home.. Saved myself a few bucks, haha.

Just found one of my rummies has some sort of green growth on its head The biggest, brightest coloured one.
Any ideas what it could be?

I dont think any of the others have it, but theyre smaller & faster, & the light isnt brilliant right now, so they could have it & I havent seen.
I'll be able to get a closer look at them all in the morning.
