I know I haven't been on here in awhile, but I am now, and I have a question.
I have a five gallon fish tank with heater, filter, bubbler, light, etc. I keep my betta in there, but I've been having algae issues. I clean it weekly, but I just can't keep up, so I plan on getting some apple snails- 1 or 2. Is my tank big enough? How do I get rid of snail eggs? Are snails likely to climb out of the tank?
I would really appreciate any answers to my snail questions. Thanks!
EDIT:
How many gallons is your tank? : 5 gallons
How many fish and what types are they? : One fish, male betta
How long has it been running? : Urm...I'm not sure. Around a year, I think...
Did you cycle it? : Yes.
If possible what are the ammonia nitrite and nitrate levels? : I don't know.
What is the issue or question? : See above.
And because I've been inactive, and didn't check the front page before posting...

How many tanks do you have: One/ two; my sister has one, but I care for it.
Type of fish that you have: Bettas
Your fish's names: Russel and Charile
How long have you had fish: A few years.
Also if you have pictures of you fish we would love to put a link to them next to your name! If you have a tank with a lot of fish you are welcome to just put a picture of your tank. Please do not post the pictures on the actual forum since they do take up space; just the link will do!: I posted a pic on the old forum I think, but I don't know where any are right now. Sorry.
