OUR REAL LIFE WARRIORS!RIP Kiki
This topic is dedicated to Real Life Cats that are real life Warriors.
As you all know Warriors is a series by Erin Hunter that follows cats that live in the wild and in clans. They face dangers, heartbreak, and adventures everyday.
I was inspired to share my Warriors story because this little house cat is a True Warrior.
This thread is in memory of the bravest warrior of all.
Rest In peace my dear warrior. You are forever in my heart.
You hunt with Starclan now.
Kiki

This is Kiki, my Warrior and my real life cat. She was a stray that adopted us about two years ago. She is an outdoor cat that loves to tease our dogs through the fence and will even venture into the backyard to tease them....(Mind you my dogs are a Blackmouth cur (50+lbs)and an Akita (120 lbs). Last November, we found my Father on the floor (he had fallen and couldn't get up) after 16 hours. We were out of state and he would not answer our calls, so drove back and found him. We had to call the paramedics to get him off the floor. He spent 6 months in the hospital due to a major Staff infection in a knee replacement he had. The doctors wound up having to replace the knee replacement and all...But after 6 months he was able to come home. That was last year. This July, we found out that the Staff infection was back...in the same knee. He went into the Hospital in August and he is finally getting out this Wednesday! (PRAISE GOD!) Throughout all of this, Kiki has stayed with our house and has guarded it with her life. She hunts mice, snakes and the occasional bird around our barn. She is the sweetest thing in the world and I fear for her safety because we have Coyotes that have killed our neighbors cats in the past. This cat is so loyal to us it is almost unreal. Our neighbors wanted to take her in and they took her with them when they moved. Kiki was gone for about a week when she reappeared at our door. She had come back to us! If I could give this cat a medal I would. Kiki is a real Warrior. She has apparently gotten into a fight with a fox or something because her right ear now has a nick in it (is torn) and she had some fur missing. But she has healed and that doesn't seem to bother her. She will always be my Warrior. I believe her Warrior name would be LoyalHeart.
Please feel free to post your Real Life Warrior, even if it is something other than a cat. It may be a dog or another beloved family pet.
