OUR REAL LIFE WARRIORS!RIP Kiki

This topic is dedicated to Real Life Cats that are real life Warriors.

As you all know Warriors is a series by Erin Hunter that follows cats that live in the wild and in clans. They face dangers, heartbreak, and adventures everyday.

I was inspired to share my Warriors story because this little house cat is a True Warrior.

This thread is in memory of the bravest warrior of all.

Rest In peace my dear warrior. You are forever in my heart.
You hunt with Starclan now.

Kiki

This is Kiki, my Warrior and my real life cat. She was a stray that adopted us about two years ago. She is an outdoor cat that loves to tease our dogs through the fence and will even venture into the backyard to tease them....(Mind you my dogs are a Blackmouth cur (50+lbs)and an Akita (120 lbs). Last November, we found my Father on the floor (he had fallen and couldn't get up) after 16 hours. We were out of state and he would not answer our calls, so drove back and found him. We had to call the paramedics to get him off the floor. He spent 6 months in the hospital due to a major Staff infection in a knee replacement he had. The doctors wound up having to replace the knee replacement and all...But after 6 months he was able to come home. That was last year. This July, we found out that the Staff infection was back...in the same knee. He went into the Hospital in August and he is finally getting out this Wednesday! (PRAISE GOD!) Throughout all of this, Kiki has stayed with our house and has guarded it with her life. She hunts mice, snakes and the occasional bird around our barn. She is the sweetest thing in the world and I fear for her safety because we have Coyotes that have killed our neighbors cats in the past. This cat is so loyal to us it is almost unreal. Our neighbors wanted to take her in and they took her with them when they moved. Kiki was gone for about a week when she reappeared at our door. She had come back to us! If I could give this cat a medal I would. Kiki is a real Warrior. She has apparently gotten into a fight with a fox or something because her right ear now has a nick in it (is torn) and she had some fur missing. But she has healed and that doesn't seem to bother her. She will always be my Warrior. I believe her Warrior name would be LoyalHeart.

Please feel free to post your Real Life Warrior, even if it is something other than a cat. It may be a dog or another beloved family pet.

My cat, called Smudge...

Is certainly a warrior. xD

Alright, I only know abit of her story.

Ages ago-Yes, ages ago-As in, when I was 4, we...Had neighbours. Obviously. xD They had a cat called Smudge, but one day they moved away-Deciding they did not want her anymore-It was winter aswell, and really, a very bad winter.
She slept under the nursery which I went to, and was fed by the staff there. However, when it was the X-Mas holidays, she didn't have anyone to feed her, of course.
We took her in, and blah blah blah.
The next house we moved into, she survived being ran over by a car, being attacked by this cat lots of times, and a fox. She had to go to the vets, of course. We also had a pet dog then, which was friendly to cats, but she kept fighting her off. :c We had to give that dog away. And she walked to the bus stop with me when I was going to school. c:
A couple of houses later, she was being attacked by a dog-Not much for her, Smudge simply scratched it's nose and the dog ran away with it's tail between his legs-That was when she was 18 in human years.
Now she's 19 years old in human years, and I can't go near her food without crying from being scratched. ;_;
She dosen't hunt often, due to living where I live, but she still hunts. She almost managed to catch a raven in our garden.

Smudge sounds like a very good Warrior! I can't believe she is 19 years! My other cat, Toby is only about 13 years old....and all he does is sleep and snore all day long...

Yup. ^^

I also have a warrior fish.
Alright, I have a pet fish, who used to be called Silver-He would obviously swim around all day, blah blah blah.
But one day he went missing-And he was missing for the rest of the week.
When one day he appeared-or, my mum had rescued him. (Yes, I am quite young really.) Apparently he had been stuck underneath the pebbles in the tank-And you know how fish have gills, obviously. x3
There he survived for a week, with so much as two drops of water and very little food. It may not seem that much compared to smudge, but I think it is. <3 I renamed him Lucky. (My Mum had actually brought another silver fish, the same type, to try and make me think Lucky was still there. xD That did not work, but I love that fish just as much as Lucky.)

I am making this thread in memory of Kiki. I was just informed today that she was attacked and killed by my Akita. The Akita has been off and on with being in a very fine dog boarding, but they apparently didn't keep up his training. Both the American Akita and the Japanese Akita are very cat aggressive. When I got Sammy (my Akita) he was very well trains and okay around cats. He never hurt them. But due to what has happened within the past year I have not been able to keep up his training, which is vital with Akita's. I do not blame my Sammy or the Akita breed, I blame myself for not being able to be there to train him, as I have been away at college.

You will be forever in my heart Kiki and you will be missed.
My dab had to bury her in her favorite spot. We are moving and we will dig her back up and bury her at our new house. We were going to bring her with us when she was alive and we will not leave her behind. She was a member of the family and she will always be.

Rest in Peace Kiki.
The bravest Warrior I have ever known.

It's the truth. That cat was so loyal when she was alive...and I miss her terribly. Thanks for the comment...I'm glad people are reading her story, it keeps her memory alive.

I have two warriors, a dog and a cat. Kit our cat is a Russian blue tuxedo with the most amazing green eyes. She was a feral kitten when we got her and a mainly outdoor cat. She come is for pets and love and in summer when it's hot for the AC. She hunts rats and mice commonly so she basically feeds herself. She is my sister as I've know her since I was three. She is older now and still hunts. And then there is Blue who is a springer spanial mix who loves attention he is not much of a warrior but earn the title for me by saving Kit from a mutt we where dogsitting when he attacked her. They are my warriors who I will always love and hold close to my heart.
