Today's lesson wasn't so good... It wasn't bad either, but I felt at the end of it like there was still something missing.

We started with loose reins again, this time walk-stop transitions without reins. Heta was pretty well up in the Lala-land so I had to use reins to get even noticed in the first place... After a while she got better and listened my seat, voice and tiny jiggle of reins. Though she was being super inconsisted, like one halt goes really well and the next one is a mess... Then we did the trot-walk thing like yesterday, Heta was super. She would even slow down when there was someone right infront of us. My instructor let us walk before others as we got it so fast. Then she got me and Heta on a really small circle around her. The idea was to get her leg yield some, but in the end we just focused on my seat and hands when I bend her. I sort of like when I she helps me out really close, but it also confuses me when she sort of 'rides' for me by grabbing my hand or rein for while and at the same time tells me what to do... Seems like my hips are crooked somehow, when I feel like I have my weight on left it's not. I also have tendancy to push my elbows back when I take with the rein. Sigh... Still so much to fix. We took some tolt after that, Heta was nice first and then not so nice. She's still slightly resisting the bit sometimes and the half-halts aren't getting there always. Though my instructor said that out of the horses on the lesson(3 plus us) Heta listens to my aids the best. That suprised me a bit as it wasn't the best day for us.
Tomorrow Heta is getting a relaxing day, trot and canter first with me on the arena and then a walk with my friend on her back.

I think most of us are having lessons and some also own horses. What kind of horses do you have?
