@Mr.Milo: I love your lineart shop and will have to get art of Mully when the QH lines open up ;D You are a very talented artsit :3

@Hime: Aww that's okay, I am sure you are a great artist though. I understand about being a perfectionist though, because I am too in drawing and riding both. It would be awesome if you could run it, but like you said, we still have time. If you would like/can run it though you're more than welcome to.
Yeah I think the show team idea does need some more work though. Like I said, I didn't intend to make anyone feel bad about not showing and stuff and sorry if it came off that way. Maybe it could more of a CS riding team accomplishments thread?
Haha I know right? I remember the first time riding in it and going from using half of a tiny ring for lessons to this massive ring. It was an adjustment but oh my do I love it! It's so much fun to do courses and just to ride in, in general xD Haha it sure sounds like you and Heta would have a blast in there.

Mulligan, you make my world go round and I can't stand to see you go.
I'm going to miss you like crazy and I love you to pieces.
You are the love of my life and will always occupy a huge portion of my heart.
I want you to know how much I love you, and our 6 months together have been the best 6 months of my life.
You have been a dream come true and I have been on cloud nine since we first met.
I will never forgot all of the amazing times we've had together.
Enjoy your new home and promise me this, that you will never forget me, as I will never forget you.

@Dolphin: My art skill come and go in a whim, nope not joking. So sometimes I can actually produce a picture that I like from the begining. Ask me again about running the thing in November or something. I know more about my situtation them, like do I have time or not to do it.
Accomplishment thread sounds maybe more suitable. I don't know, maybe people could set a goal (like jump, enter show, fix some issue they have etc.) and then give updates as they get closer to it, or just post when they accomplish something major for them.

What kind of stable you ride at? Mine's kinda shabby, not many lesson horses or active private horse owners... One arena, that always has huge puddles if it rains more than little (like they cover one fourth or one third of the arena at worst).

.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
And trail pictures and a short video clip. >Clicks Start from last and then go backwards. XD I hate when photobucket throws them in that order everytime... Adding some descriptions soon, so things make more sense. Sorry the pics are bit blurry time to time, phone+horseback(even when standing still)+shaky hand=not so sharp pics. Lol

Mine's the same. The stables, one arena, next to it, a small lunging arena, and then a road and a bigger arena.. We don't even have grass paddocks, it's mud. I have to admit that is kind of sad xD
The lunging arena is TINY just by the way, a small circle..

My sister has a really nice place to ride but I hate the horses. Bleh.

Round pen is something L and my instructor are currently dreaming of, and probably winning in a lottory and getting 5 more hours to the days. XD We just got some(lot) pasture for rent, but it's in pretty bad shape as nothing has been done to it in few years... But they did try and plant some new hay there and cut down the bad stuff. So fingers crossed we get some decent pasture next year. So muddy paddocks it is for now, though they are still relativily dry for now.
We got 3 stables, which might sound like a lot. But it really isn't as they all are quite small, each can have less than 10 horses. One is actual stable while the two others are kinda just space built to have horses. Like the oldest is designed for cows originally, while the newest addition was a storage space next to it, until last fall/winter.

I hope you do have a nice pasture soon. :) There are quite a lot of stables where I ride but the stables used to be connected to a school, my school and they rented or sold it to the people who own the place where I ride.. I am not that surprised it is small and I like having the stables right next door <3 I actually rather have nice horses then big fancy arenaS, paddocks and forest right next door with bad horses like my sister.. There are a few nice horses but still >.>

I am jus really pleased I am riding again <3

@Mr.Milo;
I know, it was pretty boring except for the sweet canter. Yes, odd eh?

@ Artemis; My farm doesn't have an indoor arena, or big stables. You can't assume that everyone goes to these giant stables... my stable is most defiantly not fancy. But I still like it, although I would prefer a place which is beautifully clean, big, tons of people my age... but oh well. I can't leave Riley.
So exited to ride a pony today!

@ Barn size subjuect: My mom likes low key barns where you can call last minute or your mom forgets about lessons when you are all ready and waiting for dinner. My barn is a show barn, nothing major but it still goes to shows almost every weekend during the summer. It is not a huge barn, and lots of people from my school go and say great things about it. It currently is switching owners. I don't really care for the looks all I care about is a horses, and be a good lesson teacher. Unlike my friend whose mom keeps having her switch barns with baou *Her horse* because her mom is picky. I'm easy put me with a good teacher good horses and I'm good to go.

Monday my teacher said, after we did some jumping courses around 2 feet 3 inches*I think* she said, "Weren't you my student who came and said your didn't want to jump?" And look at me now! Doing a jump one canter stride jump, learning how to not throw Rainy off balence when I turn to do a slightly large jump, then doing another jump, tiny, tiny. Is anyone ealse like that? Curouse, if anyone ealse said jumping was scary and refused to jump untill the teacher made you do without asking?
I was <Rainy Days> please don't take it

@Kobato Fan: I see... I thought it would something among those lines. I get it with rein contact that she wants more/avoids the bit, either isn't that good thing. But with loose reins... :/ That's just weird. You've probably had her teeth and bit checked out. But if you haven't just a suggestion to check them. Also are you going to use a standing or running martingale?

I have ridden one horse who's reaction to rein contact was usually lifting his head all high and bending his neck backwards, so he would have a bulding lower neck. He was ridden with thiedeman reins(some may know it as a german martingale) for while, which didn't do much. But once or twice when I rode him really really really softly and gave him some space the head came down, though it did spring back up when I moved the rein bit too much. He was othervise lovely as well, though he had huge trot that I couldn't then sit properly, but he actually reacted when I used my seat to slow him down.

@Dolphin: I like the secret santa idea. But I probably would sit out of it as I suck at arts or am too perfectionist with my own work. When drawing head shots of horses are usually the ones I'm most pleased about, but add legs and I hate them. XP But I could help running it then, maybe? ;) Though it's still few months 'till December, so won't be able to promise 100%.
Show team I'm not too excited personally as I don't show. But as an idea it's not too bad, it just needs to be worked on bit more.
>next page> That arena is freaking HUGE. O_O Heta would have blast there cantering, or galloping more likely, it would be more like a small racing track for her than an arena. XD

@Lord Ghirahim: Fantastic facilitys? Where? Some do have some fancy stuff at their stable, but not all of us. Like at my stable we don't even get running warm water, not to mention general heating in the stables, if I'm not totally mistaken.
Btw, where you called Artemis before? Or am I just confusing you to someone else with same avatar...

@Flitter: I like the collab idea as well.

@Hano: That sucks, and sadly I can't kinda relate to that. :( I'm kinda running in circles with Heta at the moment... I would suggest what about every one so far has said. You could ride Kat and another horse? Like even if it would be just fun free ride with Kat that would still count. I think you mentioned sometime that you have been nearly the only one riding Kat for while, so I'm thinking you probably could continue riding him, even if you would no longer have a certain goal with him.

@12cj3: Joddies, as in pants or shoes? The joddies/jodhpurs -word always confuses me greatly as to me joddies are shoes, but to some they are riding pants. XD

----_____-----
So the weather ended up being really nice in the afternoon yesterday. It also got really warm, around 20C. So I had a nice trail ride with barely no bugs and with lots and lots of cantering. XD It seems that Heta has found her canter gear again, as well as the joy of trails as there's not so much bugs around anymore. Now when I ask her to trot, after a while of trotting she starts to offer canter, which I don't really mind as her canter is really nice and calm. Compaired to what her trot may have been before the canter, speedy=bumpy. We met one baby carriage on the trail, which needed to be stared very instensly while walking past. Sadly it was on a trail that wold have been real nice to go faster. It's a dead end trail on horseback, so I had to wait out a little to put some distance between us before I could go faster on the way back. Then there's the small fallen tree I've been using as a jump, it's kinda small though. This time Heta decided to leap over that fallen tree. Or so I would describe it as it wasn't exactly a jump or just running over it. There's also two fallen trees that make kind of on oxer, they are maybe half meter appart, or bit less, and higher than the tree we've been 'jumping' now. They still have branches sticking up, so it's not jumpable(?). Even if it was I don't think Heta would get it's wide and would end up middle of it.
Speaking of trails, I have to load those images of the trail to the computer... Today's day off for Heta so I have time to mess around, as I also got off work earlier than I expected. (:
Also some (possible)pregnancy update. Heta has been peeing a lot more. I asked L about it as I've noticed she pees after almost every ride. L agreed with me saying that Heta's stall has been lot wetter than others'. Then I started thinking about the pregnant mares and mares with little foals in collage, who's stalls were super annoying to clean as they were more dirty than others.

Oh, Joddies as in pants :D
