@ Hano - I do talk to him, but he just tells me to pull up my 'big girl pants'! I don't get how making me even more scared is going to help with my confidence though.
And I would ride a different horse, but my instructor doesn't have any lesson horses. I could always ride his Appy, Jake, but I've never seen anyone ride him so I don't know if he's a good horse, and even if I like him better he already has a leaser.

@Hano: That's super good drawing. Like you seriously know how to draw and shade... O_O I totally don't or my drawing comes out in spurs of moment in the middle of the night.

@Kobato Fan: Do you know why she swings/tosses her head? Martingale is just going to be a quick fix for that issue...

@Mocha: Well.... Having reins tight and on contact are different things, hanging is another. If your horse hangs on the reins you easily hang back. Seen this with Heta. At the beginning she practically wanted me to carry her head when riding...
No reins work means seat, seat, seat and seat. I have no clue why he'd put you do that if the issue is the reins. Only reason I can think of is getting you less depended on the reins.
Never thought about changing instructor? Just a thought...

@tiny: Well, they look really nice to me. (: I couldn't do jump standars, so I think you should be proud of making them.

Yesterday, I tried to work on Sparkle for a while, and slowly I'm taking her around the jumping arena. It's not like I'll ever want her to go in again, I just don't want a lingering fear every time we walk by the paddock. The ground was a bit wet today because it had been watered this morning. I wish I could have gotten some sort of photos of what we did today, but I ride alone and very rarely with my best friend, Ath [nickname]. She has her own horse [the lucky giiirrrl] called Bashir, or BB. He's an Egyptian Arabian gelding, about 15'7 hands. They're practicing for dressage competitions, so I can take Sparkle and work her with BB. Sparkle and BB really like each other, BB usually doesn't like other horses much. Anyways, Sparkle was great today.

Sorry that this isn't all too good, but I tried to rush it out so that I could get started making some for those that want one! And yeah, I was going to draw a neck but then I got bored with drawing for the moment so no neck. xD

@tiny: ooh, a horse page, that sounds so cool, maybe I should do one of Azi or Sparkle. You're homemade jump standards are amazing!! In fact, you have inspired me to make my own funky jumping poles. Not sure what colors, but they'll definitely be funky and crazay. Let's see, here's my summary of the day:

Got to the stables at 4:00 after school and started out by checking all the abused horses. [the abused horses are in a different barn from all the others. There are for barns; private horse barn, riding school horses, riding school ponies and abused horse barn]. So, I went to check on all of my babies, there are four that are currently being worked on; they are the first four on the right. Those are; Pepper, Daisy, Sparkle and Lava. Azi isn't there because she is finished, she's absolutely perfect, like the dream horse, she jumps approx. 140 cm, can do dressage really well and overall is the perfect horse. Also, I need help, what should I do with her. I will not let her go to the riding school horses, some of the riders are just so bad and she is an extremely sensitive horse. I will NOT. I don't want to sell her either.. I'm afraid I'm being really selfish. I don't really have much time for her because there is another 'problem horse' arriving soon and.. I just dunno what to do. Help.

After checking them and all giving them some attention, except for Pepper, he's so aggressive, I need to start working on him soon. I went to the private horse barn to talk to Ath, she's going to buy a new horse soon, and she's gonna want all my help to choose it and train it to jump high. He's really nice and she hopes to buy him really soon.. After that I rode with Ath. I rode Sparkle and we went around the jumping paddock abit. When BB went into the paddock, Sparkle starting neighing and calling him back. After a while, Sparkle got in the arena to join her friend, so happy bout that. Urmm, after that I worked Azi a bit, just a little hack around a field and then cooled her down. I also got around to riding a beautiful Gypsy Vanner and she was just so amazing, I wish I had pictures!!

Honestly, if your trainer has that little respect for you, I suggest that you go find another barn... I know how hard that can be, but if he only has 2 horses that aren't even that fantastic, I would leave.

Had a half day of school today, so I'm heading out to the barn in about a half hour!
When everyone else spends their half day going out to lunch, I spend it at the barn. xD


EDIT: Made a video from some of our rides from early August-last weekend. Video I know that my eq isn't fab, Kat was being pokey and too active with his head in a good deal of the clips. Plus the pink shirt clips are from when he was super stiff because of the weather change...
