@Toppy:
Sorry, I missed your post earlier!
That's cool that your barn has an open house! So you do demos and stuff for potential customers/riders...?
And I do the same staring off into space thing. Well, I'm looking ahead, but I'm just completely zoned in on my riding, so I'm not really "looking" at anything, if that makes sense.
I'm glad that Jesse is being so fabulous for you! 8D I can't wait to hear more about it as the year goes on! Do you think you'll show him again?
@Amy:
I'm glad that Donny was such a star for you at the show! It sounds like you rode amazingly <3 I would love to see pictures and hear the full story when you get the time.
And thanks, he really is a cutie, isn't he? I'm a fan of Thoroughbreds.
@Dolphin:
Haha, I'm very glad that he's making me one. <3 If you looked at the plan, the website I got it from has a lot more tack trunk plans... some are simpler than others, maybe your dad could figure that out? Mine is going to take around $400 just in materials, though! But it's going to be pretty nice and very big, so if we bought one similar it would probably be close to $900, so I guess it's good that he can make it. xD
Yeah, I guess I do have a lot of stuff. I want to build my collection too xD
I hope you can find some babysitting/petsitting jobs soon! Housesitting is the easiest, though. Take in the mail, take out the garbage, take in the newspaper, water the plants, and get paid like $50 for a week. C:
Yeah, all of my friends spend their money on itunes, clothes, and makeup... I buy salt licks, saddle pads, and show sheen. xD
@Hime:
I'm glad you could lunge Heta today . C:
And I'm so sorry that the roundbales got cut! I hope that you can find whoever did it. That's just not right.

Guess who has the best pony ever?
Me. C: Kat was fabulous today.
I had to ride inside since it's still rainy, and I haven't ridden in there forever. It's so small compared to our outdoor! But Kat was being really good. Today, when I put my leg on and asked him to soften at the trot, he actually stretched his neck out and got on the bit! His stride lengthened, his neck stretched out, and he felt sooo athletic. It was awesome. My trainer said it was the best trot she'd ever seen him do! 8D I was proud of him! Usually when I ask him to soften and take the bit, he'll take the bit and soften a bit, but instead of stretching out like I want him to, he over flexes his neck so his "chin is to his chest" (not literally touching his chest, but you get the picture). So yeah. This was a huge improvement.
The canter was great too! At first he wanted to break quite a bit because as soon as I'd get him to soften, I would take my leg off, and there he'd go. But I finally figured the leg issue out and it was. Amazing. So proud of this horse, you have no idea. He's come so, so, so far, and every day he's improving. And then my trainer told me that it was the best canter she'd ever seen him do!
And even BETTER news! I can start jumping him again within a few lessons! C: Trainer thinks he's ready to step it up, and so do I, so I'm pleased.
I wish I got today's ride on video. ;__; Oh well.
And then I worked for 4.5 hours. In the rain. It was tiring... but then, when I was waiting for my mom to come get me (she said she's be a half hour), my trainer told me that I could go hop on Kat bareback! So I rode him around in his halter until I got picked up. C: I love my pony.
@Rowdy:
(Just saw this when I was about to submit my post- 4 new posts before mine!)
Congrats about how well you did with Rowdy!
Butttttt you got a concussion? Ouchie! Feel better soon. C: Crazy mare.
