I was getting unbalanced a lot in the beginning so that's probably why I wasn't with him at some point. Thanks Hano! I really appreciate it. My jiggly leg has always been an ongoing problem, and Mr.Bouncy's trot didn't help. Are my stirrups at the correct length?
Lol, I wanted some nice stuff but I tried to stay in the small price range. I'm paying for it all myself, it only came out at about $250 so I can afford it. I've been saving all of my christmas/birthday/allowance money for a few years and so far I have about $400. I think my parents wanted to pay for it but it felt really rude to ask them. So I'm just paying for it all. xD I mean, they're paying for me to half lease Riley, and they payed for my show clothes.
Eskadrons are so nice! But expensive! I can't believe that my boots were the most expensive thing I bought.
Yeah, his trot is super nice and hunter-y! ;D That bounce is good. Kat kinda does the same thing - he has a lot of motion through his whole body, which is good in an athletic sense but can be hard to ride, so I feel for ya. xD You get used to it, though.
I'm sure that all of those little flaws will be fixed in no time once you get used to him.
I think your stirrups are fine for the flat, but I'd put them up a hole or two for jumping. C:
That's great that you're paying for it yourself and that you've saved so much! I'm the same way - I have about $2,000 saved now, but I'm super stingy with it because I'm saving up for a horse. xD It's so tempting, though, I'm always stalking SmartPak and Dover and Equestrian Collections and my local tack shop... along with BigEq.com and WarmbloodsForSale. lol.
