- Yeah, I guess I'm not allowed to pet Riley. D: I still will, though.
Oh my gosh, you're encouraged to brush random horses? I would be so happy if I got to even hug Riley. I would faint if I got to groom/wash him, and I would die if I got to ride him.
I'm convinced that he'll be put up for half-lease soon, and this is why.
So lets say that his owner's name is... G, for girl. So G owns five horses... two ponies, a 2-3 year old who isn't trained under saddle, Riley <3, and another horse who I shall call H for horse. She went to [insert name of foreign country here] to import a fancy Warmblood.
First of all, she barely ever rides Riley any more because she rides H mainly. When her new import comes in, she's not going to be riding Riley at all, and will probably barely ride H. Honestly, it will be hard to actively ride three horses, especially because she's just in high school. So my reasoning is that they'll lease/half lease Riley out to someone so that Riley can be exercised a lot, but they can still own him. That way she would only have to worry about riding the import and H.
However, my mother was talking to G's mother, and apparently G's mother might start riding Riley.
That doesn't make much sense, but oh well. At least G and her mother are very nice, so I know that Riley is in good hands.
