It really depends on what kind of show, where it is, who's hosting it etc. There's a chance there will be and a chance their won't be. If it's a breed show, like hosted by and Arabian or Paint horse association then there likely would be, other then that, who knows. Best to check the class list of the show you are going to.

I don't think halter would be very practical, considering all the different breeds that everyone has.

Honestly, I think a show would be rather difficult. We have so many different levels, disciplines, and interests. It just seems like it would a little more effort than it's worth.

I have done halter classes lots of time, though its not really my thing. Its hard competing against the 'true' halter horses c:

I compete in halter classes, along with hunter and jumper, in hand. Driving, obstacle, and liberty. There all fun, halter can be, but some horses you have no hopes of beating loll

On Storm bucking:
He's nine years old. I ride him every day, most of the time. I ride every evening at about 6 until 8. I barrel race a lot, but I get tired of it too, so I switch the barrels and put them into a different place, and sometimes put little jumps up, as I use to jump him. He was put into a pasture with his girlfriend, Lily, my neighbors horse. I only rode him twice when I had him there, once barrel racing and once bareback, and if i'm right i've had him there 3-4 days. I will talk to my parents about getting his back checked. Thanks for the advice everyone, i'll leave him alone for a week or so

I had almost total 300 pictures and video clips, so I just found it easier to make an album for the best rather than posting all of them separetly here. Album link here. The order is bit messed up, I think all the pictures of the same horse are somewhat next to each other, but the showing order is wrong. Also all the horses in the riding pictures are mares and the conformation pictures are stallions. I got videos of the stallions instead of pictures. But my cameras battery started to die near the end, which is why I don't have many clips of the three last, or in the album order three first. The last one I took none, though he does have a really nice pace, as I've seen him in competitions few times already. I will probably put together those clips so each stallion's performance is one clip or something. Which one would you like to see the most in action?

Well after my pervious post, I managed to hack my mare to a certian extent. I lunged her first then rode her, then hacked her out. I had planed to walk her in a circle around the common with my fiancé just incase. Soo glad he came, she bolted we were both clinging onto the end of her lunge line. I have massive rope burn and can barely hold anything not good for work. not trying that again soon. On other news the building work has sped up again after the rain my yard is starting to take shape! also found my fiancé a dream horse I will try to get a picture. He is odd he loves tb types or dale types which are total opposites! I found this tb called jake still green but shows some small potential.

And I think that it would be a good idea to include a few "fun" categories besides all of the hard-core riding stuff - you could do a best groomed horse/pony award, prettiest tack, best costume, etc.

I think so too! Yeah I was thinking about the same thing, like some fun and cute little classes like that too ^^

If anyone has anymore ideas let me know! I also think someone should make some ribbons maybe?

Let me tell you all of my ideas so far:
-Maybe we could do divisions (under saddle/over fences or two over fences) so we could award Champion and Reserve Champion? *Just an idea, tell me what you think*
-If no divisions then it would just be classes
-We would have english and western classes
-Then we could split it up further to hunt seat eq, dressage eq, ect.
-If people want western classes someone may want to give me ideas as to what you would like (reining, cutting, barrels, ect.)
-It would be with both pictures and videos
-We would elect judges for each division/class by knowledge/who wants to judge

If anyone has anything else they would like please let me know
