I'm going to watch the Cross Country in the Olympics!!! Sadly, Zara Philips isn't competing because, according to my dad, both her horses are injured .__. I'm excited anyway though! Can't wait!

I am going too, but sadly your inccorrcet, pipa funnel is out due to
Injured horse, so Zara is up for selection but she only has one possible ride (mayb injured I dunno). The team so far is piggy french, William fox-Pitt, Mary king, (can't remember), and so far blank. Up for selection is Oliver Townsend, and others. I am Suprised you only just found out your going, I don't want Zara to compete I want another male to keep will company personally (I love will and Mary both such nice people). Yes Zara can ride but not as well as them! Her horse would also rather go vertical than foward.

Lucky your country get's a team, where we barely got one dressage rider in the Olympics. They were hoping to get a team this time, but not good enough results or injuries happened. We might get second rider in though, but it's up to many things... I don't know how final those selections are at this point as I don't really follow the competition world in any disipline. During the last olympics it was really cool though, we once again got one rider in dressage(she's like sort of the master in dressage for us) and we got off the lesson to watch her. They even put her riding up on the big screen at our auditorium, but we just watched it at our appartment which was closer.

Monday cant come quicker! My first proper show! I think I will do good. If I can come first within only owning Casper for a week against 22, I should do better now ive been with him for a month! I cant wait! Its gonna be exciting. He has a busy week.

Actually I found out a while a go, just forgot to post about it and I'm really excited now :]

I'm looking forward to seeing Mary King and William Fox-Pitt especially! Two of my favourite riders such bad luck that both Zara's horses she had qualified were injured though .__.

Our barn has a new resident! His name is Brego and he is so beautiful! We just got him unloaded and situated, but I'll have pics up soon <33

We'll also be getting a little rescue mare to rehabilitate and her name is Kitty. She'll be coming later this week

Have any of you rode with a person you thought would never ride as long as they live? A person who is in the "cool/popular" group?

Ok I'm sorry if that sounds mean, I'm not trying to sound mean. I was just courious because this one girl who goes to my school, does cheer, and who hangs out with all the people who I really don't like, for exmple my nieghbor who a big time flirt to the high schoolers on the bus (At lease I think he is). Anyways When I saw her at the barn I was amazed! Thoughts were going through my head like: Umm... I think that _____, but I don't know maybe its a sister that I don't know about and are identical. Yes I may sound mean, and judgemental, but I was so surprized to find out she was leasing a horse. We rode together once, she seemed nice to me. So to sum up: I found out people who are "cool" can ride horses.

SO, I jumped Sassy in a lesson today, for the first time in like 3 or 4 years <3

I haven't jumped in FOREVER, and I"m proud to say that it seemed like my body remembered it pretty well. The only issue I had was keeping my head up when I went over the jump, and not holding Sassy back so she didn't take off after the jump. The arena was wet, so we only had one jump, and Sassy would only jump when it was about a foot, versus the 2 feet that the others were doin'. I can definitely tell Sassy is getting old, since she wouldn't do the bigger jumps, and by the time we were finished, she was sweating and completely tired out. I love my girl, but I think it's time to start looking for someone else to ride.
