I do ride horses. My grandparents own Rocky Mountain Horses, and I'm learning to ride.
The horse that I mainly ride has the same birthday as I- month, day, and year.

I submitted my form a while ago.

Anyways,I'm not so excited.

I HAVE to show. I can't get out of it. My instructor is actually going to make me ride a horse for once,and I'm slightly flipping out. I haven't ridden a horse in 2 years. I have been riding PONIES for the past two years. I HATE the height of being on a horse. I prefer the height of a pony. Although,if the odds are in my favor,I might get to ride a new pony,bigger than the one I usually ride,for a test ride,and maybe for the show.....

I hate jumping 2'3" on the ponies. It feels like we'll knock the top rail every time,but we always clear it.

Yeah it is.You can do many things like Dressage,Jumping,eventing,trail riding etc.

It's not that I don't want to ride him, it's more that he rocks at halter and showmanship. And I've retired him from barrels and poles and speed events like that. Of course we might run a race every so often but it's not a real barrel circuit for him anymore. He also doesn't like to go slow, like in a western pleasure or reining class, so thats a no go. The classes were $8 each, so I didn't want to enter a whole lot lol.

A while ago I booked my tickets for the Windsor Horse Show, but at the time none of the timetables were definite or anything, so either I skimmed over it, or they just hadn't added it in, but, on the day I'm going, the Marwari horses will be performing during the day! C:
They've got a load of people from all over the world performing in a Jubilee event for the Queen instead of the usual Royal Tattoo in the evenings, and during the event they'll all be performing during the day, too. Originally I thought that the Marwaris weren't doing it on the Sunday, but they are and omg I'm so happy. I freaking love Marwaris. ;3;

The New South Wales Mounted Police [never before seen in the UK :D], the Royal Cavalry of Oman and Carosello dell' Arma dei Carabinieri will be showing in the Castle Arena throughout the day; the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride and the Karabakh Horses from Azerbaijan will be in the BHS Frogmore Arena; and the Chilean Huasos Equestrain Team and Magnificent Dancing Marwaris of India [<3333333] will be in the Copper Horse Arena.
I am so excited to see them all it's unreal! I'll be sure to take a tonne of pictures for you all, don't worry. c: I'm probably going to watch them as much as possible and then just see the classes before/after when I can. I'll definitely make sure to get a good spot before the Marwaris come out, which'll probably mean sitting through the class before, but I don't mind, it's a Side Saddle Concours d'Elegance. :3 Then after them is the Appaloosa classes, which rock, too.

Wow that sounds so amazing! You should totally see the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, I see them every year at the big fair/exhibition thing here and they are really good! I love seeing them every year. Will you be able to take photos? I'd love to see some of everything!

So my trainer just texted me saying they've got my feeding job covered tomorrow, and to be there at 4 to get Jesse read to go have our lesson at one of the local schooling show grounds! So me and my friend will trailer Jesse and Simon out to ride in the outdoor ring! I'm so excited, this is the first time I've trailered a horse off- site. I've tagged along with other people before, but since this is my first year actually leasing and show season has just started up, this is my first time having a horse that I can take someplace. I can't wait till tomorrow now :D
