At least with Cowboy, he's just a cribber and will nibble on jackets and sweat shirts.

My Pony Chance so handsome ;u;
One of the other school horses I ride, Lopey
He's almost 6 and still very green, but sweet, though recently after being leased by an intermediate rider he's developed a nasty attitude and is generally sour. ;u;

[center][size=85]Cue used to be like that. He'd be okay just sitting on the crossties, but as soon as it looks like you're going to put the saddle on his back he'd get nasty. It was almost a little scary, he'd swing his head around and snap at everything. Once he swung around and bit my hip when I wasn't paying attention. It hurt like ***.
Once you got to work with him more it was easier. The biting wouldn't let up, but you would start to predict when he'd go for you and avoid it. He was a really fun horse, though. He had a problem with his hoof awhile ago and hasn't been ridden since, but I do remember the biting.
Sometimes you just have to work around crap like that and know their boundaries. Horses aren't perfect animals, they can't always help being bad tempered little brats. Sometimes they get that way from mistreatment, too. Cue was like that because people used to tighten his girth way too tight, so he learned to be afraid of the girth and didn't want it tightened.
