Heta was being super awsome today.

Heta has issues with riding indoors as well. Or atleast she used to, as last time I rode in one was a year ago. Ibelieve majority of the horses have bad days when even easy things are hard to do. I know Heta has those, but she is a mare after all and mares can be moody during heat and stuff. Though Heta isn't that crazy at that time. I heard from one person that their mare just goes completely nuts when she's in heat; spooking at anything, chasing and bossing other mares, generally being really hot to ride etc.
I also don't have horsey frieds either... Which is why if I get a chance to start talking about horses, I won't stop. XD I once babled a good hour and half car ride only about horses to my mom....![]()

Haha, that's why I prefer geldings. Mares are funny little animals sometimes, very moody. And I've heard that, too. Cinnamon and Chloe both get kind of nutty when they're in heat. Chloe is rideable but gets sensitive about her back, but Cinnamon suddenly feels young again and starts running around like an idiot. It's frustrating since she's used for little kids.
Same here! It's terrible, they take up a good chunk of my free time but my friends have no idea how much fun it is. My best friend is well aware of the fact that the horses come before her. xD
So once I'm given the chance to talk about them I really just don't shut up. My poor mom is usually the one who's subjected to it, my friends have all learned to just smile and nod.

@Parents and talking about horses:
My dad never comes out to see me ride, so I don't talk about horses with him at all. xD He just changes the subject or tells me to shut up when I try.
My mom, on the other hand, is -almost- as bad as I am. :p She has never ridden more than trail rides, and doesn't want to, but she watches nearly all of my lessons, reads horsey books to learn more, etc. She likes to help brush off the horses and is always loving on them and giving them treats. <3 And she listens to me rambling on about horses and riding.We go watch shows together, went to the WEG together... she even watches the horse sale videos with me to put in her opinion about their movement, jump, etc. xD
Gotta love her. We were at the dog park yesterday, and we were grouping the dogs into Hunter, Jumper, or Eq based on their movement. xD

My Pony Chance so handsome ;u;
One of the other school horses I ride, Lopey
He's almost 6 and still very green, but sweet, though recently after being leased by an intermediate rider he's developed a nasty attitude and is generally sour. ;u;
