    Scene, I'd like to go bigger... but I can't XD. I've only been riding for two years, and even I'm surprised that I can jump two feet! I don't think Winnie was 'stepping' over those, lol. Besides, the next class is novice and I'm not sure I can remember a course right now, lol.
    Oh, and it's the top four riders who have to advance, not six. XD
    If I did it right, I am currently in 3rd. I have 32 points, the girl above me has 33, and the top girl has 45. Of course, I don't know how well they did in the most recent show.
    Must. Convince. Parents. To let me go to the show next month. I need those points!
    Advancing is kind of scary, though. Those courses look hard. 0.0

    I think I'm just extremely competitive. XD I'll be keeping my eyes on the points!
    So far, I'm 6th... after only one show. 0.0 I guess my blue made me in 6th. There's been three shows already, not including the one today. The points for today's show haven't been calculated... That will really bring me up, because the top rider has 3 blues on o/f classes so far.
    I'm confused about the other part - what does 2/26 and 3/17 mean? It has that at the top, and then 'Blues in O/F classes', and then below that is the names and then numbers. I know what the blues in o/f classes is... but what about the others?
    Good news! I'll be going to the show on June 3rd. :3

No it's not just you, believe me xDD My goal this year was to win a year-end award, hopefully Champion or Reserve in my division. But with my missing the show where they gave out double points, it's gonna be real hard >.< Especially with May 19th being the last hunter show in that series >.< That's awesome that with the points from today that you might be in third <33 And awesome about showing on June 3rd!! That should be a lot of fun ;D

Winnie is really cute. You guys look good together :3 About memorizing courses, it's not hard at all ;D At the HITS show each of the lines were the same color which was really helpful. Usually for hunters there will be a outside line, judges line, quarter line, and another quarter line. Obviously not in that order but the fences will be placed somewhat like that. It would be awesome if you get to move up too :) 2'3" Isn't scary though, and I am sure your instructor will have you nice and prepared ;D I am hoping to move up next year too...Maybe showing in the 2'9" Benefit Hunter Division? One of my older friends (she went to the HITS too) said that my trainer likes to move people up during the summer. She said she will probably start raising the fences and moving me up this summer which is exciting 8DD If I am going to ride Meg for that we will probably have to do a lot of work since he overjumps a LOT and he gets excited at the canter sometimes xDD Afterall he is an off the track TB.

@Horse-girl123: You guys are looking really good now! You look a lot less tense while riding, and your keeping Gem at a nice steady pace -- even over the jumps! I think the bending line stuff is really good for guys! I really like how you brought her back from the canter in the middle of that bending line because you didn't have to keep yanking at her mouth, she just listened ;D Your transitions are getting a lot better. Nice job, really nice job <3

I went out and rode today. Its so cold out. I tried to ride bareback but i still have to get used to the qh canter.. but I did it. :)
I was walking him out of the arena after free lunging him and he spooked at my friends grandma and he ripped out of my hand and ran. I didnt have a lead o him either so it was direct contact to his halter... I think he ripped a tendon innmy forearm. e.e im so ised to having a lion of a horse.. not a chicken. But he was very good, still need to work on the plastic bag... he kinda did a 12inch rear when it was at his nose... but atleast i know how to train him to do so... :3

@Dolphin:
Wow, it sounds like you had a FANTASTIC show! I'm so proud of youuuu! ;D That's awesome that there were INTERNATIONAL people there and that you got some awesome ribbons! Haha, I think it's funny that it rained at a HITS show. HorseShows In The Sun. xD
And I'm sorry that they're canceling the hunter shows. >< Do you know why? Maybe you could do the jumpers? It's more fun, lol.
Once again, congrats!

@Raine:
You did great too! I'm glad that Winnie is being better for you. Champion is awesome, and you guys look lovely in your pictures.

@Horsegirl: I'll watch those right away. ;D

@Who ever gave me suggestions:
Thanks!

Had an awesome lesson today. I was on Willow! She's feeling a lot better - since she got her hock injections, she's been TONS looser and not stiff at all. However, since she had all that time off, a lot of her strength is gone... so she's better in some ways, worse in others.
We warmed up with some collections and extensions, which Willis handled like a pro. She isn't a fan of the collected, sitting trot because she doesn't like to have to carry herself, but I got her to keep a nice contact, get off the forehand, use her hind legs and hips, and carry her back properly. It felt pretty nice. xD Then we worked on some no stirrup trot, which is surprisingly easy for me. o.o I can post pretty much normally without my stirrups. xD
And we cantered. Willow likes to try to chase the other horses, it's hilarious.
So... cantering to the right, Willow spooked at the corner, bolted off the rail, and literally LEAPT straight up in the air - my trainer said that all four feet were off the ground at once. xD Classic. Willow. But I know how to deal with it and discipline her correctly, so she didn't spook again.
Then we did grids! We started with a baby one that Willow just wanted to plow through, but then we worked up to this: 2' to 2'3 bounce, 1 stride to 2'6. It was really fun, even though Willow isn't really jumping well due to her lack of strength atm. She likes to get really pushy, but it was OK for her current condition.
But then after landing from the one stride going into the corner, she tried to do a lead change but only got the hind... so then she got really mad, bucked, causing dirt to hit the wall, causing her to bolt and try and buck again. >< Warmblood bucks are something else. I stayed on easily, though, and got her back. My trainer said there wasn't anything I could've done differently though which felt pretty nice to hear. ;D
I got some really nice lines out of her, though.

And the best news? The people from WWU were there because they had dropped off the new horse, Sylvester. Willow is from WWU, and they were watching me ride. They told my trainer that they thought I ride and handle her really well! I was so happy to hear that, especially since Willow is from the college. <3

And Sylvester is super cute! He's a 16hhish bay TB gelding with a little star. <3 Seems sweet, and I'll be trying him out sometime by the end of the month. ;D

death
it overwelms me
like a black hole in the sky
as the chills fill my bones
the terror arises above the highest heights
the darkness it closes so very soon
asi slip away to the unknown

and another poem
why do i feel this way
nights just feel like day
i take the knife with the sharpest blade
ready to end this horid day
i fell to the ground
and slipped away

EDIT:
@Horsegirl:
Watched the most recent video! ;D

First of all, you guys have improved. A lot. She's definitely coming back to you a lot easier, like Dolphin said - I no longer see you pulling her head off xD Your leg looks FANTASTIC as well, so much improvement! Your eye is a lot better, too - not as much looking down.
The only things I would change are keeping your hip more solid at the canter and putting your shoulders back more. Pushing your hip actually makes the horse go faster! And shoulders back makes you look more confident, which judges love, and it gives you more control.

But really - you guys have improved a ton, and you look so much more relaxed with her. I think Gem enjoys the bigger jumps. ;D She's so precious!

Thanks!
Yeah, I have a problem with closing up at the canter.
Walk and trot, she says my shoulders are almost perfect all of the time.
But at the canter I just close up.

She does love the big jumps.
She's a 3footer, so this stuff is boring for her.

Lesson yesterday was ok.
Trainer came about 15-20 minutes late.
My lesson did not last a full hour.
So kind of annoyed with that.
She had me in two point, without stirrups.
My two point sucks to start with, without stirrups, you have a train wreck.
She then had me doing posting and sitting trot without stirrups.
Gem was sooo good.
When she felt me drop my stirrups she hesitated at the walk and trot.
My girl <3
Did some more jumping.
Trainer got mad because she said that I'm letting Gem just run at the jumps.
So we went through the torture of jump. Stop. Turn around. Jump. Stop. Turn around.
Did this about ten times and Gem was about really to kill me.

We're still having problems with our one lead.
We can't get it right, usually on the third or fourth try we get it.
I don't want to kick her, or use a crop.
But I don't know how to get her to listen to my signals.

So I was riding Buster today and we sometimes do little races with each other. Usually Buster is dead last because he's so lazy but today he decided he wanted to go. I apologize in advance as the wind was really loud.

Well the video says it all, we won, by a lot. Was fun :)

Another video.
Hano, Dolphin? Would you mind judging these?

You have improved alot, just one or two things why are you jumping in a standing martingale?????!!! And I can't believe the last video is that you!? Wow! Only 2 problems with the last video at one point you were sawing with your hands on the horses mouth and in the canter you were leaning foward and out the saddle. Fair enough if that's what you wanted but to a speedy horse that's saying go faster. Leg position was great and the shoulders looked a little stiff. The only other thing in the 2nd video your horse had no energy and I didn't see why you didn't canter all the way round but that's personal choice just your horse was dragging its feet most the time but some are just like that. Well done on the improvements though just my pet hate is standing martingales and jumpin and sawing hands (aka pulling unequally on the reins like a saw is the bit to get your horse to listen)
btw Mandy-Lou22 is soooo amazing wanna give her a massive hug
also thank you to Asura for giving me my dream pet
also thank you to AiraSkylar for giving be the 08 advent of my dreams
another thank you to ~Amberleaf~ who gave me 3 free rares!
