Just mixed up some food for the roaches, it is a base of alfalfa pellets and chicken mash, with small amounts of like 4 different kinds of fish food, some wheat bran, and vitamin supplements mixed in.

right now the crickets only get the flukers orange cubes and the flukers wheat mixes I believe (I think its wheat).... e.e not entirely sure. But I occasionally throw in an apple slice and lettuce :3

Im so excited. chief is growing very well and socializing very well. He happily sits on me for a while every day, and isnt bothered by the act that my kitten watches him all day... (she is NOT in the room if i'm not, and he is never out of the tank if ANY predator is present.) Though im worried he may be stressed out by her watching him. even though he perches and basks in her presence. Does anyone know If I should keep her out of the room at all times?
again, she is unable to harm him.

Heres a tip for everyone. Don't waste money on the cricket water gel from pet stores or whatever.
if you go to anywhere that has gardening supplies miracle gro makes the same stuff, and it is 15 gallons worth for $8. You just drop a few pieces in water and wait a little bit and you'll have more than you'll ever need.

Sadly we lost my leopard gecko Marvel yesterday. He had gone 4 months of his life without any sort of calcium or d3 other than the starving crickets that he had to fight over in the petstore. I gave him a good home for two months. In those two months he put on massive amounts of weight (which he needed desperately), grew an inch, and became a very friendly, out-going little lizard.

Unfortunately, though, the severe calcium deficiency never really went away, and within only one week he suddenly lost every ounce of fat he had and passed away. I'm really sad, but I knew when I rescued him that there was little chance of him ever living as long as they can under proper conditions. I'm just happy I was able to give him a better life while I could.

On a happier note, my other three gecko girls are doing very well! Adonis has slowed down her growth rate, which is normal at her age. Ares and Pan are now just finishing filling out, and both will be two years old in June. Adonis will be turning two years old in November! This morning I fed Pan while she was perching on one hand, which was fun, haha. The other two won't eat if they're out of their tank, but Pan is really chill about things like that.

Fig, my iguana, has doubled in size! She'll be a year old May. She's calming down a lot more, if I'm patient I can pet after she finished spazzing (silly lizard), and she knows her name now...but doesn't come when called or anything like that XD Still not "friendly" really, but I think we're getting somewhere.
Reality is subjective.
