I've never heard of/ had a rabbit getting B.O., so it's probably either an infection (You seem to pay a lot of attention to her, which makes me think you'd know if she had a cut or something that might get infected, so I doubt this is the cause.) Or, as you suggested, her cage needed cleaning.

Bunnies usually grunt or lunge and try to bite you if they want you to back off. I'm thinking this was most likely just a yawn, especially since you mentioned seeing her tongue.

Rabbits aren't ready to breed until around 6 months.

@junebug.

Domestic rabbits can be bred anytime during the year, although they do take better in spring.

Ah, thanks. I'm planning on cleaning her cage and litter this afternoon. Tysm!

Zelda was sitting by the hut door this morning, and she would leap at fallow if she came near.

Salt licks. Thoughts,opinions? I personally wouldn't use one because since there's a lot of salt (which should not be even a quarter of their diet by FAR), it can damage their kidneys.

how do you guys feel? Anyone who uses them? I'm not making this an argument or debate.

I put one in for enrichment, like if they are restless. ;)

Aah, okay. Is it alright if I put one in while she's on heat?

Rabbits do not come in heat. They have periods where they are more fertile and wanting to be bred more than other times but they don't have actual heat cycles like other animals.

Ohhh, okay. Mine's nearly 4 months and at one point about last week my dad thought she was getting a lil frisky, but don't worry! Hasn't come yet........

How long do salt licks last?
