alfiq wrote:hi! anyone got any opinions or experiences with eukanuba's large breed puppy food? trying to figure out a new food for my lad, and it's proving pretty difficult with all the opinions out there. he's a 6 m.o ridgeback mix, been going on rc's maxi puppy.

puppy tax

I've been on the large breed adult, the kibble pieces are large which I really like, I haven't tried rc but since they're owned by the same company there shouldn't be too much of a difference in quality. Personally it doesn't do wonders for my boys coat, but I have no problem with the food at all. They're a pretty good brand imo and personally don't have any complaints about it. very handsome boy !

@northernlights I’m such a sucker for beagles - hence the pfp. Since you’re a fellow beagle owner I feel inclined to share photos of my pooch.. the good and the bad lol. I just don’t know how such cute dogs can also look like this…

This is my purebred Greyhound, she's 3 years old. She's an absolute sweetheart and loves people, other dogs not so much. She's very well trained. But I was wondering if there is any other Greyhound owners on here that's had one for a year or so I have some medical questions regarding her. Send a DM

Hello, I wanted to ask for tips on how to help a dog with resource guarding issues. My puppy has really bad resource guarding. He will run away and growl at you when you try to take it for him. Often times, this is with items that are either dangerous to him, or he isn't supposed to have, so we can't just let him keep the item that he has. I tried to watch some resource guarding dog training videos, but all of them suggest a different thing, and either none of them really seem to work, or are aggressive methods. He is a dog that responds well to positive reinforcement. As long as we are kind and gentle with him, he's not too aggressive about what he has, but often times it will take forever for him to let it go. I would love some suggestions on how to help him stop this issue. Thanks in advance!
