And is that a blue/purple tail I see? Cute. Great group shot.
Nope, my next Belgian won’t be until next year 😂 though there is one in the works. This pup will be my boyfriends first sport dog so went a little calmer this time lol
I feel like a Beauceron would fit in well!!
at least that’s my next breed !

hi guys!!
I currently only have one dog, Rory, a miniature Aussie who isn’t that miniature. She’s a ball of love and energy, who adores my kitten. They snuggle together and love to groom each other. She’s dog reactive, which we are seeing a private trainer for. Any other suggestions to help with the aggression and anxiety that comes along with it? She’s on Prozac already.

They are casually on our ‘maybe one day’ list but not a breed we are really looking into heavily yet.

Also I need everyone to appreciate Bones’ face in this photo 😂

I love her face, she's adorable.
Reactivity and agression aren't the same thing, are you having problems with both? Counter condition is recommended in both situations. Here is a video to check out...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ayl8K5P66hoIf you're looking for products to help in addition to the Prozac, there are a lot of supplements/calming treats on the market and you might have luck adding some of those. Speak to your vet about it as they know what is suitable giving her personal requirements and what might be incompatible with the Prozac. Some people have luck with Thundershirts. Also there are sprays and collars, including pheromone ones that may help, again talk with your vet. A lot of that stuff is hit or miss and varies widely by dog, but may be worth trying out.

she’s absolutely gorgeous, (I’m biased though) she is both reactive and aggressive, we’ve been working woth a private trainer since last September, it’s due to trauma when she was a puppy, we’ve gone back and forth with the natural remedies, I swear by a certain brand that I used on my cat, but don’t know if it will have the same effect o. Her (cleared with vets already)

Blue_Aussie wrote:Hey all! I was wondering what kind of cold treats your dogs get in the summer? frozen kongs and freezing water in a plastic cup are the only two I've heard of so far. Let me know if you have a good one!
I've seen imagins of people freezing stuff (treats and toys) in a large tub to make a huge ice puzzle. Watermelon is one of Chloe's fave summer treats. Frozen berries are a possibility too. You could freeze cubes of broth or apple juice (check ingredients obviously) and there is dog ice cream that gets sold in stores (and some ice cream shops) as well as mixes you can buy at home. There's also a ton of recipies online for frozen dog treats. @hey-azazel - I'm glad to hear your girl is better now! Wish mine protected me from spiders, lol.

My dog LOVES purinas frosty paw treats. He has never been a fan of plain Ice. I may have to try freezing some broth, he’d probably go for that

My three babies are getting pretty old, I can't even imagine life without them. If they were to pass, I'd have no idea how to deal with it, as they've been my dogs for such a long time. Are there any ways I can mentally prepare for when they do go?
I AM ETERNALLY SCREAMING SEEKING RATS OF ANY KIND<3
