That's the only way my BP takes food. I cannot get him to strike. I just leave it in there for him and check back later and it's always gone. I like to think he's just a shy eater lol

This is my 3 year old corn snake Sebastian. Today is the 1 year anniversary of me getting him. He is my son tbh. He has a little sister now who lives with me. She's a 3 month old amelanistic corn snake named Tesla.

Thanks for making this thread! Snakes are one of my favorite animals, but everybody I know screws up their faces and says 'ew' when I tell them. Who can relate? I'd love to have a harmless one for a pet.

I get that all the time when I tell people I own snakes. Everyone is so scared of them. I think they are precious little babies. A dog is just as likely to hit as my snakes are. And dogs could actually do more damage.

Yup, funniest thing is when people say they're slimy lol. And then the people who say its cruel to feed snakes rats/mice lmao, just makes me laugh thinking about it.
And then there are the people who are open-minded and curious who end up loving snakes, I love those type of people<3
Also with me comparing snake vs. dog bite, snake wins. A dog can do more damage, but a snake put hurts wayy more, to me at least and even took much longer to heal than a dog bite.
