im really not sure... is this dog from a puppy mill- store- byb ? ...and did it show already when you got the og or 12/24h later? .....but when you only had the puppy for 5days...could it be the breeders fault?...then they need to pay all or part of the vet care or even take the dog back...atleast when it was not your fault like playing to much with the dog, or to cool area it did sleep in, cold ground, wet dog...what does your vet say to this, being in a room with stone ground or kennel or windows open
did the dog do a blood test to see if the dog was on meds when you got it?
hope the little one is healthy again soon!

going to train lucky to recall to a dog whistle but im not sure what the whistle command should be. if it was your dog, which would you choose.
one long whistle
multiple (3-4) quick whistles in a row
like other did say is not bad ^^ ...
but maybe also look into how farm owner who work outside with sheep or ducks-chicken, train there herding dogs, they often are trained to work with whistle on long range out of sight.... different pulled out long or short or long short, sharp low, high and shortened whistles sounds for different things to do....when you are lucky there may be even one who gives lessons to teach dog owner this work....but from what i did hear is that nearly every one of those trainer use different whistling sounds, atleast that is what you see at shows, nearly non sounds the same for the same thing, at shows like this for herding dogs you also can learn much about whistle work or sign language^^
