One of my roosters, Bob, has had a string tied around his leg for over a week. I didn't notice till my mom told me a couple days ago. I finally got the string off today! It was not easy, he's our hardest chicken to catch. It took like ten minutes to cut all the string off, it was so tight and tangled. I have no clue how he managed to get tied up like that, but I'm glad I could get it off! He's all good now

Other: please look at my pigeon, her name is Pudge and she's a frillback (she's molting in this pic sorry i don't have a better one) i love her! i bought her while up at state fair in august and she is so great! i'm looking to get more pigeons before fair season this year, i really want a pair of old german owls and modenas!

i also really want call ducks! they're so tiny and cute!

thank you! what kind of doves? i really liked diamond doves and wanted to get them in the past but i never followed through with it, now i'm starting to like ringnecks but i don't know if i'll end up doing anything with that either, as much as i'd like to.

Mourning doves, they're very very common where I live and very pretty ^-^

Why are you joining: I'm planning on getting some Silkies by 2018, already saving up for the coop I want.
Favorite poultry bird: Bantams (specifically Silkies)
Other: Only thing that sucks is my city only allows max 5 hens, but MyPetChicken only lets you order a minimum of 6 chicks to my area. 8'D

I am very excited because after not having chickens for some time, we will be getting 25 bantam chicks in March! We'll be raising them as a part of the family and getting chicken-diapers so we can let them roam around in the house every now and then. I am very happy because we're finally getting my favorite breed- polish! As well as cochins and dutch bantams. (10 cochin, 10 dutch, 5 polish).

When they arrive in March I'll be sure to share photos of the wee fuzzbums!

I have calls.. they are the best. I waited a long time to get them and they are like my kids. I lost my first of my original birds two weeks ago. I missed her alot.
