Just a bit of the story :3
Its not done. Noo.. XD
{ .:: - Warning- Blood and Violence is involved in quite a bit of detail. - ::. }
You may not think its descriptive but others may think so!
A large male wolf sat out in the woods, The sky was dark with thick rain clouds and the breeze that swept over the world chilled him and he shuddered closing his eyes for a moment before opening them to the dim light of the moon. The woods were dead silent and a bit gloomy to Dax.
He let out a gentle breath gazing out into the open woods, and idly thought of his mate Amanra. The thought of her presented itself to him in such a demanding manner, It had almost shoved its way into his mind for he had been thinking of something else. He couldnt help it though- he was in love. For him, she was his everything. Dax lifted himself off of the ground with a swift movement and quietly turned to pad through the woods. He shook his fur out, before focusing on the woods around him. He gave a soft smile to himself as he thought of her again while lifting his head higher to scent the air. There was a gentle breeze that caressed through his fur as it whisped through the woods, pushing Dax further, and closer to his destination.. Dax sucked a deep breath of air in, As he lowered his head padding quietly away from the spot he was just at.
Dax weaved his way through the woods effortlessly- dodging any fallen logs or brush that might have happened to be in his way. Dax's ears were perked and his chest puffed out, his tail high behind him in a dominate way as he padded quietly closer to his destination. He suddenly became rigid and tense hearing a twig crack, What is that..? He lifted his head to gaze around the woods quickly, His head clouded with thoughts that had suddenly sprung from their hiding spot, clearly making Dax a bit nervous at the sound. His Ears twitched as he heard it again. Dax now could feel his heart against his chest, pounding loudly. He rotated quietly in a circle- lifting his head to catch any scent that might drift his way. A Rabbit. He chuckled softly now able to smell the thick scent of rabbit that hung in the air. Food. He thought to himself, Quickly disaparing into the woods after the scent with a quick, and swift pace. His paws landed on the mossy ground lightly, making his strides faster and with more power. His muscles rippled with every slight movement. His ears were perked and he zoned into his surroundings- his eyes grazing the forest as it passed quickly, hearing his own foot falls, feeling the power within him. His soft fur was slightly ruffled From the wind as he suddenly dashed forward- a growl rumbling from deep within his chest. His tail was high and moved slightly as he sprinted through the woods, jumping over logs and twisting around tangles of shrubs He saw. His legs and underbelly was splattered with mud from running so quickly against the soft earth. .
He shook his fur out, trying to get any leaves or brush that might have clung to him during the run off of him. He came to a slow Trot, lifting his head tasting the air for any other signs of the rabbit. He pricked his ears hearing a soft hop and Immediately sank to the ground and stalked toward the sound- his muscles tense and rigid as his ears flicked in every direction, taking note of which way the wind was moving and where he should, and shouldnt place his paws. He paused mid-step, flicking his ears in the opposite direction of the rabbit. The sound heard was familiar to him; and the smell made him drool. His hunger for the scent demanding him to turn and hunt that animal.Hooves. He thought to himself lifting himself off of the ground watching the rabbit freeze, then bound away quickly. Dax had become weary of his decision- He could have easily snatched that rabbit up for food and taken it home. The deer would prove a much harder challenge, but it was more food..We need the deer more. Im sure the pack is more than tired of having Rabbit. He silently went back and forth in his head to himself before deciding to hunt the deer and not go after the rabbit again. He sprinted after the fresh trail now, weaving through the brush as he kept his eyes fixed on the hooves imprints into the soft earth. He became silent when He saw them. A mother doe and young. He slipped underneath some brush and tasted the air again, factoring in that he was down wind and just needed to stay silent. He soon locked his gaze on the young, studied it's every move. Dax kept frozen for quite some time- listening... and awaiting patiently for the young to stray from its mothers side.. His body had began to become stiff and he had grown tired of waiting. He had his mind set on just going to find his mate- his orignal task. But a movement in the meadow below caught his attention again. The young distanced itself from its mother, completely unaware to Dax's eyes burning into it. The male lifted himself off of the ground quickly- his fur in clumps of mud..He suddenly catapulted out of the brush and dug into the ground with his claws, pulling himself forward faster as he quickly lengthened his strides and picked up his pace. His heart was racing and the sensation of the hunt filled his mind as it went completely blank and all he could think about was the Deer. His mouth watered as thoughts of being able to feast with pride on the kill. The young had disapeared into the woods- leaving the meadow in seconds, its mother following close behind. He quickly moved around the brush that had circled the meadow and ran into the shadows behind the deer. His heartbeat was racing, and his veins still pulsed with the thrill of the hunt. The deer both jumped as they saw Dax as he followed close behind. Dax let out some loud barks and snapped his fangs as he closed in onto the young deer. It's mother whirled around and kicked toward Dax. He darted out of her aim and ran after the young deer who attempted to escape in the opposite direction. He sprinted even faster, He was panting now- and heavily, as he neared the deer's rump. He slipped and tumbled over himself on the wet ground before managing to grab ahold of the ground again and flung himself off the ground- latching himself to the youngs back and sinking his teeth into the soft flesh behind its neck, sending it stumbling onto the ground. He took this as another quick opportunity and lunged at it's front area of its throat and pulled it down as it struggled to stand and exscape Dax's fangs. As soon as it collapsed onto the ground beside of Dax- it was dead. He let go of his grasp on the youngs neck- blood trinkling down the sides of his muzzle and onto the ground. Sniffing his puncture wounds on the deers neck he pulled his head back for a moment before leaning down to scent the wounds once more. They weren't strong enough to kill the young deer.. it must have died from shock or a heart attack. Either way, He was exhausted and thankful he had been able to catch the prey.. He pulled back my head, and let out a loud howl to announce my pride in catching the young- although it was nothing for Dax, he felt pride in it either way if it should be a Kronador or just a simple young. He stood up and lowered his head to sniff over the deers lifeless body for a moment before sinking his teeth into the flesh and tearing into the deer's side, ripping away tendons and muscle. He ate the inner organs- his muzzle splattered with blood, staining it. He sat back, feeling full. He scanned the woods, wondering if anyone would come to company him in his kill or if he would have to drag it back. He glanced down at all the meat that was still on it and bent back down to nibble at the deers body for a few more moments, to make sure he was full. He needed to store up energy. Kronadors lurked in every possible place and he had no idea if, and when they would attack. Dax needed to be on top of his game at all times to be sure him, his mate, or one of his pack mates would be injured. Blood dribbled from his muzzle as he lifted it to gaze with soft eyes through the woods for a moment, He licked his muzzle and every so often glancing up at the raven who was circling above.

Dax dropped the young deer he had caught and lifted his head with a soft smile gazing down into the network of tunnels just below the surface of the world. He nudged the deer closer towards the opening of the tunnels. He opened his muzzle and gave a soft howl down into the tunnels hearing it echo off of the walls and bounce back up at him. He sat and cocked his head listening patiently, the woods around him still quiet and gloomy. The sky was darker than before- but the moon still managed to seep through and splash its light upon the world below. He waited for a couple of more moments before he saw Rayo appear out of the woods- a dead rabbit limp in his jaws, his maw splattered with blood. Rayo came over in a quick and silent trot dipping his head at the sight of Dax, and laying the rabbit on top of the deer. He stepped back and touched noses with Dax- a greeting. " Where Have you been Dax? " He spoke with a hushed tone- As if he thought if he spoke to loud, he'd wake up the whole forest and crush the peace, and serenity that loomed about in the woods. Dax lowered his head as he spoke, and shot Rayo a glance, squinting his eyes as if he really had to tell him. Rayo knew where he had been, and why. Dax just needed to exscape sometimes.. He sighed quietly and lifted his head to taste the breeze- it lifted his fur up and away from his body cooling him for a few split seconds before the breeze was gone. Where is she..? Dax had started to mentally freak out. Amanra should have heard his howl.. she should have already been here.. Where is she...? He questioned again, shifting his position so he was able to gaze straight into the depths of the dark tunnels of the cave. Dax flicked his eyes back to Rayo as he began to speak again- but the sight of Tira interupted him and Dax could hear a soft growl rumble deep in Rayos chest. Rayo snapped his head back towards the location Tira was at, and lowered his ears. He must need to talk to me.. about something important.. Dax imediately stood at the sight of Tira, and watched as she crept through the brush, her ears perked and alert, her body tense and rigid- seeming as if she was always on her toes. Always ready and willing to give up her life for another. " Dax.. " She greeted him with a somewhat warm smile as Dax sat back down, She then turned to greet Rayo. She dipped her head and touched his nose before padding quietly around the two to sniff at the bodies of the two animals. Dax turned to gaze at Rayo for a few moments before he lifted himself off of the ground and nudging Rayo reluctantly. He wanted to sit there and wait for his mate.. He wanted to sit and wait- Just to see her smile. Just to see her again. This is important. It has to be, or Rayo wouldnt have acted like that when Tira Came.. but.. Dax trailed off to himself, thinking of his mate again before finally nodding his head gently to Rayo as he turned to pad away from the kill, Dax taking his side. " Watch The food Tira. Be careful. " Dax murmered softly- warning Tira. He had a bad feeling about something- he just didnt know what. His stomach was rolling and he was choked up for some reason. He shook his head softly to himself, as him and Rayo disapeared into the darkness of the woods.

" We have seen some.. Kronadors hanging around our boarder. I think their planning an attack.. " He murmered softly gazing down at his paws as they continued along the path away from the food. The eerie silence of the woods was peaceful for the two as they jogged silently through the woods- the only sound was the quite crunch of their paws on the leaves, and the quite thump of their paws against the soft earth. Light from the moon snaked its way through the bare spots in the trees, casting glimmering spots of light down upon the ground, and making the world around the two glow in beauty. The akward silence was held as the two casually made their way around the boarder of the packs land before Dax finally interupted it with a cough. " I had a bad feeling earlier. When we left Tira.. " He trailed off quietly. It wasnt normal for Dax to act this way- serious. But when it came to things like this- he knew his place and how to act when things like this happened. He shook his head " I felt like something bad was going to happen.." He trailed off again, the feeling had been shoving its way back into his mind everytime he tried to get rid of it- but he hadnt said anything till now. A loud and painful cry shifted the almost worry free atmosphere imediately to a worried one. Rayo stopped dead in his tracks, and looked up at Dax's face, fear spilling over into Dax's eyes. Amanra. He thought as soon as he heard the cry and shifted his weight to the side as he pushed himself away from the spot next to Rayo. He darted through the woods- his claws digging into the soft earth as his strides began longer, and his muscles rippled with every movement. The wind picking up his shaggy fur and tossing it in every direction as he sprinted to the sound of the cry. Another howl. He heard another one pierce the air and he imediately changed directions following the sounds of the cry again, tears almost spilling over to roll down his cheeks. His mate- Amanra. In danger. He heard Rayo trailing a few moments behind him- obviously worried as well, with the topic of Kronadors being the lastest subject between the two.

Dax darted to the side barely missing the jaws of a Kronador- and turned to meet his cheek with the tips of his claws, dragging them downwards and tearing open the rough animals skin. Rayo imediately lept over Dax's crouched body tackling the Kronador swiftly and taking it down- Tira had been sneaking around the edge of the meadow and saw this as an opening. She lept out tumbling over the Kronador's body and sinking her teeth into the throat of the beast, holding onto it for her life. Dax turned as soon as he saw that one was taken care of- to be greeted by two familar faces, with a worried expression, as well as determined as they fought the animals. Faolon And Max had just entered the meadow and had been tackled by a Kronador- each of them being thrown to the ground by the strength of the beast. Dax stood for a few moments- just watching as time ticked by. Quick seconds turning into what seemed like hours , as everything began to go into slow motion. He watched as his packmates fought for their lives- as well as the packs. He stood oblivous to anything happening.
Dax was suddenly torn off the ground and thrown with a Kronador landing ontop of him with a growl and snap of its jaws. This is the end.. Isnt it..? The kronador had got on top of Dax in such a demanding position he could barely move, and the more the seconds ticked by, the more worried Dax became struggling against the power of the beast. He froze, as he saw his mate Amanra leap into the fight only to be pinned by a nearby Kronador- And saw it bend to sink its teeth into her body. Tears imediately filled his eyes, as he watched this horror movie happening right before his eyes.
~
Dax stood over Amanra's bloodied body- his heart pounding up against his chest, and his breath ragged and rough. The bodies of Four Kronadors layed limp across the meadow, puncture wounds scattered across their necks. Tira was slinking around in the shadows- ready to pounce if another decided to show to the party. Rayo had ordered a healer to the site imediately, him standing by to support Dax. Max and Foalan Sat near the edge of the meadow, talking quietly between themselves. The rest of the group of wolves lingering around just to stand and be with Dax.
He sighed quietly leaning his head down to nuzzle the side of Amanra's bloodied face, and sat down whinning quietly gazing at her for a few moments before he lifted his head to look over his shoulder back at Rayo who stood patiently and quietly.Dax let his gaze fall back on his mate, and whinned again- finally hearing another set of paws running through the woods towards them. Moments later a small white female came padding across the small meadow towards Dax's mate and sat down almost shoving Dax out of the way. He scooted back- but still stayed close to Amanra, as the healer did her thing. Dax could smell several different herbs.. and many other things.
It seemed like forever as Dax waited behind the healer, twitching his tail. He gave a soft impatient growl and the healer turned to smack him with her paw- Squeels of laughter erupting from Max and Faolon from the edge of the woods, Dax turned and shot them a warning glare- imediately the two muffled their laughs, but still hadnt trouble doing so. The healer stepped back moments later to reveal Amanra with her eyes closed slightly. The blood was removed from her fur, and a soft smile fell upon her face as she saw Dax's worried face. " Im Ok.. " She murmered as Dax fell beside her and nuzzled her gently once more.
God. I hope I can finish this before the 30th. -_-
