thankyou for hosting this, i never would have gotten found to finally redoing my chibi style, its been 4 years and i am much happier with how they look now:)
im also working on another peice more in line with my main style, but its probably going to take me a while

quick qu, i am probably going to end up drawing and adding images of chibis before the end of this art comp and adding them to my gallery that i linked, i just wanted to check that this would not interfere with the scoring

edit 23/04; just wanted to make a note that since drawing these i have used this style to draw many characters as you can see if you follow the link to the chibi heads but all were drawn after the development of my style for this art comp, just incase there was any confusion

The concept I've focused on here most is character design because lately I've almost only drawn characters of others with fixed reference sheet and it is an interesting challenge to reimagine a character in a different species (my thought processes about some design changes are in the pm I sent you about the WIP a month ago).

Two other things I've tried to improve on are:
-Different technique for drawing bigger scales - it looks alright I think, but I'm still not 100% happy with it
-Drawing smoke/wisps (because the last time I've tried something similar it looked more like a magic spell, way too glowy and not smoky) and I'm actually really happy with how it turned out here
