Why would you like the Raven?: I've never had a Raven before, not even whilst logged out in the distant CS past! I'd totally love a chance to win a Raven of my own. Dressing up pets is a passion of mine, and I have so many plans for what I'm going to create with my items, if/when I ever get a Raven <3

What would you name it?: Mortemis or Decursus (descent in latin)!

Why should I give you the raven?: Well there's many users to choose from, and I'm not going to pretend I'm the best person ever, because that'd be a disturbing lie, but I can offer up some nice thoughts! I've never had a Raven before, and I try to give pets away to other users as often as I can, whether that be spare catches from the Pound I misclick on, or gigantic gifts any time of the year. I'd cherish the baby forever, and probably even draw the pet some fanart for once in my time on this site ^^

What is one thing you're grateful for?: It's probably a super cliché answer, but I truly am grateful for my mother and brother. They've always been here for me, no matter what has happened to us each passing day. My mother, especially, is a big pillar of hope and light in my life, because she refuses to give up on me, and pushes for my success. There used to be four of us, but this year hasn't been extremely kind, and now it's just us three. I could never ask for any person to ever replace my mother, or my brother, because they're just so so special to me. <3

Other: Hmmmm if it's alright, I'd like to share one of my poems! I don't expect this to secure me a win, and I mention my struggles not for pity, but for appreciation and sheer gratitude at this opportunity.

Its kind of a hard thing to place a definitive answer on for the Ravendog. I have been on here since 2012, roughly 2 years after the Raven came out, and it’s had the same demand since then. I, of course, being a lover of Edgar Allan Poe’s ‘The Raven’, and a mini emo kid, I fell in love with the pet, along with the Yellow Toxic. I have had my Yellow Toxic for a few years now, but the Raven has seemed to repeatedly escape me. I’ve always offered on the Raven, but I have never received any offers including one. I was hesitant to enter this giveaway, since I previously won the 09 UR Dog, but I just couldn’t pass up on an opportunity to own one of my biggest dream pets.

In all honesty, I really do think I am a wonderful home for my pets, many of which I have owned for years, including the very first pets I adopted on the site! I can promise you that the Raven would be a cherished pet of mine, it would help me in such an incredible way to my goal for my dream pets, since it is one of my biggest ones! (My dream pets can be seen in my signature below) Like I’ve said, the Raven has evaded me for years, even on the year I got a UR Tiger from the Re-Released pets, I still haven’t ever received an offer including the Raven. Theyre quite common in terms of store pets, but I can understand why so many are hesitant to give them up!

𝔚𝔥𝔞𝔱 𝔴𝔬𝔲𝔩𝔡 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔫𝔞𝔪𝔢 𝔦𝔱?


I do have a name picked out! Of course you may have guessed it, but I will name her Lenore, because she is a “Rare and radiant maiden”. For a long time, I also debated naming the Raven Gerard and choosing a male gender, because I also love My Chemical Romance , and the beautiful anthem that is Welcome To the Black Parade. Let’s just say, no mom, it was NOT A PHASE.

I am grateful for my amazing boyfriend. We’ve been together for over 4 years now, and we have our own place together, for over a year now. I’ve been in some very tough spots in the past, but he’s always pushed me to go for what I want and never stop trying. He’s helped me relearn to love myself, and been a great friend most of all. I know it’s cliche for people to say their partner is their best friend, but I really do genuinely believe this. We have the same sense of humor, we get into shenanigans together, we like the same music and movies, tv, everything we do together, because we want to. We genuinely enjoy each other’s company, and that’s all that matters. The only downside, he steals the love of every animal, he’s an animal whisperer. My cats, which I have owned for years since they were BABIES, are more excited to see him than me :,)


𝔒𝔱𝔥𝔢𝔯: 𝔄 𝔖𝔥𝔬𝔯𝔱 𝔖𝔱𝔬𝔯𝔶.

A clash of branches and a flash of lightning startled Lenore from her sleep, the wind howling as her eyes struggled to open.

“A storm? That’s can’t be right, it was supposed to be a beautiful day. What time is it even, the sun hasn’t even rose yet.” Lenore rolled to her left side, becoming more entangled within her quilt. Thunder slowly rumbled and roared outside. Her eyes squinted as she tried to read the piercing numbers of her LED alarm clock.

“3 am. Great, what a waste of a perfectly good dream. I hope this storm passes so I can enjoy my day tomorrow.” She said with a sigh. Lenore slowly drifted back to sleep, unaware of the severity of the storm brewing outside.

Lenore awoke this time naturally. She felt surprisingly refreshed and ready to go, unlike her usual groggy self, she’s not the morning type. She glanced over at the clock like before, the sun gently shining through. “Ah, 7 am, that’s much better!” She jumped out of bed, and raced her way into the kitchen. She noticed how beautiful the weather was outside compared to just a few hours earlier. “No one likes the rain, there’s nothing good to do when it rains.” She smirked, thinking about all the fun things she could do outside today after breakfast. “Mom! What’s for breakfast!” As she came around the corner of the hallway, into the kitchen, she noticed her mom was no where to be seen. She didn’t smell any bacon or eggs cooking either. “That’s odd.” She thought to herself. She made her way to the living room, where her father normally sat in his armchair, reading the daily paper. “Dad where’s mo..” She froze in place. Dad wasn’t here either. She raced off to check their room, maybe for once she was up before them! As she approached their room, she saw that her parents room was completely empty.

She gasped and stumbled out of the room. Unexpectedly, she tripped on a loose board, “OUCH, what the…” As she got herself up and turned around, all she could see was rotting boards, peeling wallpaper and the ceiling was cracked and full of holes. She paused a moment to try and understand what was going on. Just as she started to get ahold of herself, she felt a a cold shiver crawl up her spine. She could feel the dark, radiating presence of another just behind her.

Without even the thought of a glance, Lenore bolted to the front door. She had to jump and dodge her way through the dilapidated remains of her family’s home. She fought back the tears focusing only on getting outside. She tumbled down the front steps, losing her balance for a moment scraping her knees on the ground. The spirit that had followed her, started to crawl and creep its way out the door, and down to her. She slowly backed up away from this tortured spirit, unable to look into its eyes. “GO AWAY, you are NOT WELCOME HERE. GIVE ME BACK MY PARENTS.” Unfortunately, it seem her words meant nothing to the spirit. It crept closer and closer to Lenore, not matter how fast she ran, it was always just behind her. She bolted for the woods.

Suddenly, Lenore felt a drop of rain her hit nose. She began to cry, she was afraid of the rain and storms. The rain drops quickly grew and fell faster and faster. That’s when she noticed the spirit was writhing in pain, each drop sizzled and screeched as they passed through him. Slowly the ghost disappeared, but not before uttering a final phrase to Lenore. “Be..grateful.. for the day, no…matter the circumstances….for tomorrow…may never come.” Exhausted, Lenore crawled home from deep within the woods. As she made her way home the weather started to increase in intensity. When she arrived, it was miraculously back to its original state, clean and blue, with the flowers all around the yard. As she stepped through the door, she could hear her mother yell out to her.

“Lenore, is that you? Breakfast was ready an hour ago! How early did you get up today to be getting in at 7 am, it pouring outside!?”

Why would you like the Raven?: I've always loved the design of this pet, but more late 2019 to early 2020 is when it really became a favorite. Me and someone very close to me have a joke between the two of us about Diaval from Maleficent where for the longest time we thought his name was Deevil. So we now love to scream at eachother when we see eachother "DEEEEEVIL IS EEEEEVIL!". Diaval just happened to be a raven in that movie so it's definitely a big dreamie for that reason. Pets that have personal meaning to them mean the most in my opinion, not that rarity isn't important, but when it comes to something important specifically to me for a personal reason it means more.

What would you name it?: Maleficent

Why should I give you the raven? I'm gonna be honest and say I'm not really sure. I just generally like the pet and it would be an honor to recieve one like this. You've already been so kind to me and I'm very satisfied with what I've already recieved so if someone else is more qualified then go for it!

What is one thing you're grateful for? My best friend! They have been my friend since 2017 and we're like sisters at this point! Shout out to Normie_Boy because you are an amazing person and an even greater best friend who deserves the world!

I'm sure this reasoning isn't unique to me whatsoever- but the raven dog has been my highest dreamie ever since I first saw it! It perfectly encapsulates what I love in a design. It's just so beautiful, and I love looking at it whenever I come across it in pet groups! I adore the attention to detail, the amazing shading work, and how nicely every element comes together - I've come to appreciate this even more after picking up art as a dedicated hobby! For the four years I've been on this game, it's always been first in my list of dreamies, no matter how many times I revised my trade rules. I've been after it for so long, but of course this goal of mine has been set aside a bit considering how out of reach it is. Don't get me wrong, it's possible I could obtain the raven dog if I traded away everything I've collected so far- but I'm so attached to my little collections that I just don't have the heart to do that. I try to focus on smaller goals so I can feel more accomplished, but the idea of eventually having the raven dog after years just makes me so happy to even think about! Overall, I'd just be ecstatic to have this pet- I adore its color scheme (two colors, but two colors that go together Nicely) and its overall aesthetic. A pitch black dog with huge, fluffy raven wings is essentially a dream come true for me when it comes to a design. I love winged pets on this game, especially when they belong to a species that usually doesn't have wings. Seeing many users' dress ups where they include raven feathers and such around this pet is such a nice touch and it made me appreciate the concept even more!! I love this pet so much and having it in my collection would be amazing!!



I mean, just look at it... this design is so lovely and nice to look at!!! And I love darker color schemes that are easy on the eyes!! The eye color(lol) adds a very nice touch to an otherwise dark design. The feathers all over are so beautiful, and man I could just go on and on. I kind of already did, but I just love it so much!!




♥ 𝖂𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖜𝖔𝖚𝖑𝖉 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖓𝖆𝖒𝖊 𝖎𝖙? ♥

This is very difficult, as I'm absolutely horrible at names. My history of naming pets consists of looking at them for a brief moment and saying the first word that comes to mind (some examples: Twinkie, Biscuit, Snuggles...), so it could potentially end up with a name as generic as Crow, Fluffy, or Feather... But, considering this pet is so beautiful, I'd love to get in touch with my creative side and maybe come up with a more complex name that suits its theme! I think it would be lots of fun to look into a cool name, potentially related to mythology as I think the raven dog would be an amazing concept as a fantastical creature/legend! Also, the raven dog has always strangely reminded me of the font I'm using for the titles here- which is why I decided to use it- so I would probably incorporate the font in the name as well. I'm an extremely indecisive person though, so I'd probably have to give this great consideration for days on end^^;;

If I'm being honest, there is no special reason why I deserve the raven dog more than anyone else entering this giveaway. I just thought I would take the chance since it's rare to come by, but I believe that anyone who writes from the heart here and genuinely wants a shot at getting the raven deserves the same opportunity and to be considered just as much as me! I'm sure there are many users reading this right now who have the same exact motivations as me for entering. I believe anyone who tries their best and puts effort into their entry deserves a rightful chance at obtaining their dream pet. Considering this is a pet that I’m sure was (and still is) very special to you, I think it’s completely up to you to decide who deserves it based on their entries… I can't give you a good reason why I’m the one who should get the raven out of all of these users entering, because truthfully there’s nothing special for me to say… but I hope you like my entry regardless!
What I can tell you is that I’ll treasure the raven endlessly and make sure it’s passed on to a good home if I eventually quit, but I’m sure that goes for most players entering here!! I'm sure the raven will go to a great user no matter what!

I can also tell you that I'll... most definitely try my best to go all out dressing them up!!

Choosing only one thing to be grateful for always proves to be quite difficult for me, although I'm sure my past self would be completely surprised by this. I used to be an extremely negative person, and I still struggle with it here and there, but learning to appreciate what I have and treasure what I've been given has been a major stepping stone in changing my perspective for the better. Overall, it's important to be proud of yourself for any progress you make at improving! I'll just list off some things that come to mind quickly as it's so hard to narrow down... my loved ones who are there for me day in and day out, being able to spend time and live with my little brother, having a cat who always brightens up my mood when I'm down, being able to enjoy my favorite foods from time to time, and all the little happy moments in between that keep me going. A little appreciation goes a long way, and I think gratitude is so important, especially after struggling with it for years. I try my best to not take anything in my life for granted, and I think it's helped me a lot in moments where I feel more down on my luck. ;w;

For a more... time specific thing, I'm grateful to have a winter break... really, school has been so difficult lately and I'm just elated to have the chance to finally relax!! This week has been so incredibly hectic and I'm so relieved break is starting now.. I enjoyed working on this entry in my free time sparingly throughout the week, it was a bit cathartic in a way ^^

I've been drawing more than ever the past month, and I'm so happy to be able to again! Even though I struggle a lot and I'm still learning, I try my best to enjoy the process!! What I mean to say by this is that this giveaway came along at the perfect time and I was ecstatic to see that you were giving us the option to draw!! And I loved an excuse to practice something I haven't much at all (I actually don't think I've properly drawn wings once in my life OTL) so this was so much fun!!

The Raven Doggo is literally the coolest pet on this site.

Why should I give you the raven?: There’s honestly someone whose probably going to write a spectacular post that would be impossible to beat! I mean honestly; why should you when everyone posting deserves one? But… It’s the little things in life that keep me going, ya’know? Have you been in that point in life where you don’t know what you’re doing or even if it’s meaningful? Where am I going? Why do sites where I collect fictional things make me so happy? The Raven has always been a major dreamie of mine. Now I understand that it is for majority of people, but I shouldn't make up anything either. I've been on CS for a couple years now, and my luck just sucks when it comes to getting any sort of list pet.

What would you name it?:
I would name it Jade 玉 (Chinese character). It's known that in Chinese culture, that jade is the most valued even though its not the most rare. The vibrant/solid green colour just shows off its beauty and it just has so many joyful representations.

Why should I give you the raven?
Well I do believe that everyone has an equal chance to get this Raven pet. I do not have many more reasons than it just has been one of my major dreamies for the longest of times now.

What is one thing you're grateful for?
I am grateful for the life I have. I don't usually like spreading on the internet about my personal life, but I am very lucky for the life I have. There are a lot of people who go through much more difficulties than I have to in day to day life. So I am grateful for the life I have

Jade 玉, The Raven
In literature that ravens often represent bad omen in stories. But this raven is different. This raven wants to change how society perceives them, and show them that they too, like others, want to live in simplicity. This raven has beautiful black feathers, but radiates a beautiful jade colour that at a glance, no one will see. This is because the jade colour is from the heart, from the mind. Not everything is what the eye perceives, and this raven wants to change how things will be. This raven will be known as Jade 玉, The Raven. The one who changes the symbolism of their kind.

Why would you like the Raven?:
It is quite honestly one of the prettiest pets.
I love the aesthetic, the release date aesthetic and it's a raven!
which is one of my favorite animals <3

What would you name it?:
Denali
(It was the name of my childhood dog,
he was pitch black and the sweetest baby
-lived to 17! miss him a lot though)

Why should I give you the raven?
Well, I'm never good at being like e"pick me" but I know I
would love it and it's been my goal on CM since I started
in 2013. I'm bonker bad at trading so I'm not sure if I'll be
able to obtain it that way. BUT I will never give up. This
would fulfill that dream, but I will keep hunting : )
I will have one, one day! Thank you for this opportunity!

What is one thing you're grateful for?
Honestly, I'm incredibly grateful for being able to live at
home while in University. It's expensive, but my family is
super supportive and I just am so happy I don't have a lot
of extra expenses while going to school <3
