Why would you like the Raven?:Apart from the rarity of this dog and the fact that it would be an incredible addition to help me achieve my ultimate goal of a complete collection, the raven is one of my favourite pet designs on CS - I love how the artist was able to make an all-dark design look soft and mysterious at the same time. From the large, beautify wings to the little feathers poking out of the dog's mane and the pale, innocent eyes - the whole design is stunning, and it's not hard to see why so many users also feel the same way, making the raven dog one of the most coveted pets on CS.

In addition, a friend recently recommended the show Once Upon A Time to me - my sister and I binged the whole show within a month - oops! But alas, it was time went spent - I love how they managed to weave the characters from different fairytales together, and not to mention the countless plot twists that kept me on the edge of my seat! I can see from your avatar you are also a fan! The design of the raven reminds me a little of multiple characters on the show: Peter Pan's shadow and Regina, but mostly the black fairy from the show. The black fairy to me was such an interesting character - she was so beautiful yet also so full of darkness. I have to admit though, I was relieved when her character died on the show!
What would you name it?:As the design of the raven does remind me of the black fairy, I'm thinking Fiona, the name of the person that
eventually turned into the black fairy. While the black fairy is supposed to be the embodiment of all things evil, I see a kindness in the raven dog's eyes, which reminds me of Fiona.
In my version of events on CS, Fiona chose love over power.
Why should I give you the raven?I don't think there is any specific reason that you should choose me over all the other worthy applicants of this dog, but I can promise you that I will take good care of her. She would be the crown jewel of my collection, proudly displayed in my trade rules and will probably get a rotating spot in my signature c: I love dressing up my pets and I've recently discovered so much potential for Once Upon A Time themed outfits, I'm struggling to decide whether I can dress her up as Fiona, or as the black fairy, but with all the apple items on CS I could also make a Regina-themed outfit work! Not to mention all the wonderful shadow pet items available (like the ones scattered through this post!)
If I am the lucky winner of this pet, I would be eternally grateful and keep her forever. However, in the event that I do leave CS, I promise to pay it forward and gift it to someone deserving, just like you have opted to do with your collection. Letting go is incredibly hard and I'm truly in awe of your generosity to the CS community!
What is one thing you're grateful for?Right now, I'm incredibly grateful for my wonderful friends and colleagues! Over the weekend I was bedridden with tonsillitis - I felt so terrible and weak. It was the first time I had been sick in a while and also my first time being sick since I moved to my new apartment. As much as I love living alone now, being sick on your own can be a little bit scary. It was so heartwarming to have people reach out to me to check throughout the day, and some even took time out of their busy days to send me care packages. Feeling loved and appreciated is truly a wonderful feeling, I'm so lucky to call these people my friends! I truly hope everyone here has people they know they can count on <3
Other: As I alluded to earlier, I have *so* many outfit ideas in my mind for the raven dog based on different Once Upon A Time characters, and I'll definitely be experimenting/taking a good look through my items! But I thought I would also share a little bit about the raven dog's personality/backstory - the way I envision things c:
Growing up in a family surrounded by dark magic, Fiona's future was basically sealed from the moment she was born and she was expected to follow in her family's footsteps. [I can definitely see Fiona's parents to be the type to say "Love is weakness" lol]
But Fiona knew there was something different about her - she was incredibly shy and reserved but her siblings were loud and outgoing, jumping at the opportunity to exercise dark magic, even at the expense of others. While her friends chose to practice dark magic and looked down on those who couldn't, she much preferred to immerse herself in nature, away from all the distractions, and sit in beds of flowers to think. Her favourite spot was under the tree next to a lake tucked in the mountains, where she often visited to get away from her controlling family. There, she befriended all the songbirds and breathed in the crisp, mountain air.

Whenever she broached the subject of not pursuing dark magic, her parents would always tell her "don't be silly, of course you will continue the family legacy." The likelihood of escaping dark magic grew smaller each day, and soon Fiona found her calling within the realm of dark magic: shadow creatures. The shadow creatures were often exploited for their use in dark magic - they were used to carry out spells and were then cast aside once their purpose was served. Fiona was keen to be their voice, advocating for their welfare and took time out of her day to care for them once the other dark magic students had left class. If Fiona was unable to escape dark magic, the least she could do was to try her best to make others' lives easier.
