Thank you for your patience while I was judging, this was crazy difficult to choose just one winner, every single entry was so spectacular.

Without further ado, the winner is...

I absolutely love this design, the towering horns, the brilliant sunset colors, all of it - the theme of the sun and serpents is so cool, and in the end it was the serpent marking on the front legs that sealed the deal (makes for such a killer tattoo in a humanoid adaptation of the design lol). I can't tell you everything I like about it because what I like about it is everything, I'm really excited to start developing him!

However, this wasn't the only entry I fell in love with - I spent the week trying to decide between these two entries and in the end I couldn't walk away with just one. So I'd like to offer a runner-up winner to...

The flowing fur, luxurious hair, killer horns and the brilliant contrast in color, I also just... love absolutely everything about this design. Like I said above I really had to pick like 1 individual marking to choose between this and the winner and even still I just love love love this design.
If you're interested in letting me keep this design, I'm more than happy to offer you whichever prize Riddle doesn't choose (between the legendary kalon item / July PPS pet) or I can offer a 1-rare MYO as a runner up prize! If you'd rather forgo the prize and keep the design for yourself, I couldn't say I blame you but I hope to see the design around somewhere. ;) Lol.

I have to admit I really liked a lot of these designs... like. The competition was seriously fierce so I want to take a second to comment on the things I liked about each entry. <3 You're welcome to do whatever you'd like with these designs (as long as it falls under kalon rules of course)! Thank you all SO much for sharing your wonderful talents!

deerbroken - The red form especially really caught my eye - you have such a unique use of color I never would've thought to put together, but it really stands out into somethign seriously special! The eye-like markings are brilliant and the blue fire is gorgeous. The way the horns weave together is super cool, and the second form too was such a cool contrast with the dimmer fire and change in horn position... would be super cool for character building, definitely!

Sweet Dreams Always - These colors are so brilliant you can't help but stare - and get excited - seeing this design! The fire is such a gorgeous compliment to the gradient markings, I love the scars and the golden tail - just a real work of art, honestly, and the longer the look the more there is to like about it.

Jiareirda- My favorite part of this entry is definitely the hairstyle, as soon as I saw it posted my eye was immediately drawn to the hair. Simple designs can honestly be some of my favorites because it leaves so much room for imagination, I thought the base purple was really pretty and you stuck to my wants without going overboard, and I especially like the gradient on the hooved legs!

Baylin - I see what you're saying about the drow vibes a little bit lol - but I really really loved the colors of this one, the dark base with pops of color and the super creative horns and tail... the hourglass marking is really sweet too and I really love the flow of the curls on the fur and hair! I do hope I see this guy around, whether as a legendary or rare kal or even just a variant of the design, he's so pretty.

kanadensis - First of all your designs have grown so incredibly over the little time we've known each other and this is no exception, holy cow? The design work on this is so stunning it's really hard not to stare, I love the dual tails standing out in color and then topped with that brilliant glowing shine... yes. Just yes. I've also never seen claws done quite like that but it's so cool? I love the effect and the subtle arm markings. The hair and horns are beautiful and the design just... gosh this is so good, you guys made this so hard on me honestly. This design deserves the world, I really hope someone gives them a good home. <3

~Finchly - I have to give you so much credit for creativity because I saw right away how you managed to work both hooves and fire in without actually using two legendary traits - the fiery shine and swooping glow are so cool, they bring in both elements so well - I really love the contrast of the dark hair and the flow of this design!! It's lovely and elegant but it's got the power of fire behind it too, ah man.



Once again all I can really say is thank you all SO much for sharing your talents, I wish I could give you all top marks. These designs are incredible and I love so many of them, it was extremely hard to decide on just one... as you can tell by the fact that I couldn't, lol. Writing about all of them again got me all hyped up again, you guys are all so good. <3

ohhhhh my gosh 🥺 thank you so much i am crying in the club rn. i am so glad you like him because i loved making him, working with warm tones/reds is my fav thing to do so i really went all out with him; i am DELIGHTED he will be put to good use <3

and congrats to kolya as well!! i really really loved your design too, the fur around those back hooves is just....so captivating i rly could stare at it for hours, and i loved the way you redrew the legs, everything just flows so perfectly and the choice of blue + red accents is STRIKING and executed amazingly!!! 10/10 would steal if i could
