- heya !! i have a handful of kalon myos and i think hosting a competition would be a fun way to have them made <3 there's a handful of ideas/concepts that entrants can pull from, or you can just go wild 'nd do something you think i might like !! prizes will be available in either monetary amount (usd) or as kalon myos/items bought in the winner(s) names.

rules
- 1 ) species guidelines must be followed; this includes keeping a "fake" sign on all entries.
2 ) do not copy existing kalons or other people's entries.
3 ) entrants may make as many entries as they like, and may also win multiple prizes.
4 ) i'd appreciate if designs based on the first three concepts not be given away, even if they don't place.
5 ) entries and questions alike may be posted on this thread, pm'd to me on cs, or dm'd to me on discord !

"equivalent" means the winner may choose their own prize in kalon myos/items that add up to the monetary amount listed.

ideas/concepts

a ) the rats !! | one-trait rare, unlim rare, or one-trait leg ***
based on my pet rats !! a sta.sh full of pictures of them can be found here. ideally the design should pull from each of them, but it doesn't have to be 100% natural/realistic !! i tend to associate them with the colors blue and green. a rat-shaped halo might be neat ! if legendary, my preferred trait would probably be genesplice (rat hind feet).
b ) alister | two-trait leg ***
inspired by alister azimuth from ratchet & clank !! there's a pinterest for him here. generally looking for a soft, pale design with bright red accents, ideally that would look nice next to a theoretical kaden ! i'd like if he had feathered wings, but his second legendary trait is a up to you (ideas: genesplice (three-toed hind hooves), multiple halos, feather growth, color/form change, etc.). some other notable traits i'd love to see would be weight (chubby/muscular) and height (reverse munch) !!
c ) kaden | uncommon, maybe one-trait rare ***
inspired by and named after kaden from ratchet & clank (much like me) !! a pinterest for him can be found here. ideally he would look nice next to a theoretical alister ! probably a mostly orange palette with other accent colors. if you decide to add a rare trait, something less "mythical" would be preferred (i.e. no halo, goop, glow, etc.).
d ) fortnite kalon | common, uncommon, one-trait rare, or two-trait leg ***

some of my fav skins are dj bop, meowscles (2 / 3), kit, bunnywolf, and drift !!
e ) a partner for minti | common, uncommon, or one-trait rare
it's time. araminta has been single for long enough. ideally a fancy purple kal with long, pretty hair !! should compliment araminta's design nicely, but other than that just have fun with it !
f ) a partner for seb | common, uncommon, or one-trait rare
pirate captain and sebelia's partner!! probably a green palette with some fishy and/or space-y markings? something really complex/painterly might be interesting ! i made a pinterest for them a while back here, but you don't have to base the design off of that; their design doesn't necessarily have to compliment sebelia's, either. if you're adding a rare trait, height (munchkin) or extra legs/ears/tail would be neat !
g ) a partner for novak | common, uncommon, or one-trait rare
novak is stinky but he deserves love anyways . my idea was for them to have inverse colors - i.e. orange/white with red and black accents - opposite of novak. you don't have to go with that, though !!

anything goes !! my kals can be found here, for a taste of what appeals to me.
honestly i can like pretty much any colors/design theme/etc. when done well ?? blue and purple are my favorite colors (though pink, green, and neutral kals are also v good) and i like high contrast colors/values (esp blue/orange). i tend to really enjoy painterly and complex/semi-complex designs !! rat kals also very good.
