go away to college so i thought i'd ease off the site with a bang and also give
away most of my account so pets don't rot haha. thanks for stopping by and

description
so, for this option you'll be drawing my OCs ! i'm looking for art of any kind: pixels, digital, traditional, a 3D model, a plush, really whatever floats your boat!

though, something i want for this competition is also a description of your drawing process. you can take pictures or screen caps of your art as you go or do a write up how you like to go about making your art. so, for example, if you were doing digital art you could tell me about your brush settings and how you prefer to shade and what references you used. another example, if you were making a plush you could tell me what materials you used, the kind of pattern you made, how long it took, etc.

so, it's kind of a two-part entry but don't worry too much about how detailed and stuff the description is (like i don't need an essay! unless you wanna write an essay because you're passionate haha), i just am interested in how yall get to your final product and i like learning new things. quality over quantity y'know?

so this is so people can enter, even if they aren't confident in their art skills! or prefer writing over a craft. basically, to enter this way, you must tell me about your creative outlets! this includes any way you find yourself thinking outside the box and finding ways to create things yourself.

so, the idea behind this is you don't have to talk about your drawing process or writing process (though, you definitely can if you'd like!!), you can talk about how you code, or how you go about thinking about physics theories, or how you observe the world. i mean, what i want is for this to be a really broad topic that anyone can write on! if you're not completely if your topic is okay, just send me a PM and i'll review it ( :

the description much be in depth, however. unlike the description i ask for in the "draw my OCs" option, this will be more focused around that informational portion. you're completely free to not type up an essay though! for example, you could use diagrams, pictures with words over it, drawings/sketches, power points, etc. the point of it is to be informational, so one way of presenting the information isn't "better" than another.

a portion of this option that you will not be able to leave out, however, if how you got into the area of interest that you're talking about. it can be one sentence if that's all you need, but it's not optional. it'll be in the form as a separate thing to fill out so you wont forget !
and just to be explicit,

PROMPT: Write or demonstrate to me information about a topic that you feel like you can think, or have thought already, creatively about and how you originally got into it

keepin it simple and sweet.

1. all general CS rules apply
esp those pertaining to art: (no art theft, adult themes,
hard tracing, use of images without permission, etc)
this includes writings too! do not claim information that
isn't yours! use sources and a bibliography if needed and
if you researched extra for facts and stuff

2. you may enter up to twice into ONE of the options (writing or art)
if you entered into one, but want to change to the other
option you may do that but your other entry will be voided

3. post/submit the form with your entry each time you
make an entry
so if you decide to make a second entry, you must
post it with another copy of the form!

4. all mediums are accepted
art wise and writing wise; i will accept digital, traditional,
3d sculptures, word docs, pdfs, oekaki posts, write ups post-
ed here, pictures of your entry, and anything else i missed!

5. don't spam the thread too hard
chat and discussion is a-ok! but, let's keep it under control
since this isn't a chat thread and i'd hate to disturb this board
too much haha

6. all art or creations made will be considered okay for me to use
and save if entered.
the only exception is a voided entry if you want to switch which
option you wish to do. i won't use or reference anything used
in an entry that doesn't count anymore

i'll try not to make this just a big paragraph,lol

general things i'm looking for, in no particular order:

• deep knowledge of what you're doing/talking about
• following all the rules
• thoughtfulness into entry
  like, i'm not looking for you to write or do more than you feel
  like you need to, but i'm not really looking for entries that took
  you 5 minutes either, if you catch my drift.

regarding drawing:

• correct anatomy and design
  don't worry about stylistic choices for anatomy too much, i'll
  understand your process through your description! but, please
  try to get the design correct. if anything is confusing, shoot me
  a PM !

regarding writing/info sessions:

• grammar, spelling, and control of language
  plop your writing/text you're goign to put onto an image into
  something with spell check and stuff like that! i just want to
  be able to understand the information you're giving me well,
  especially if it's a more complex topic based on a lot of research
  you've done, etc.
