What is it?: Mutated goo with dark magic
Other: A science experiment gone wrong created this mutant. An unknown substance mixed in with the wrong ingredients gave it dark magic, with the ability to suck the life force out of any living creature using a dark, electric ball it creates with energy.

Species: a genetically engineered 'super' species designed to be able to survive in outer space and is to be used for space exploration. It has the genes of many different types of felines, rodents, a few canine species, and the oddball here and there. They were designed for running and leaping. Using the collar and artificial horns and eye, the scientists are able to monitor their current condition. Due to the harshness of space, they are perpetually kept blind, death, and unable to smell - which is controlled by the collar which is connected to the spinal cord - until they reach a certain age and that feature is 'unlocked' for them. 44 is still blind, but it can now hear and smell things for commands. The color of the horns are mainly used as a signal for things like -their health, physical conditions, and emotions. The right eye -when they are 'allowed' to see- contains a camera and tracking computer. Their skin and sleek fur is extremely strong against blunt force, piercing force, UVA rays, and other light-based radiation. They are called rebirths.
History: as a baby, 44 was the runt and last to be 'born', out of a total of 24 rebirths, (2 each month) it was the only one which was not named in order. When transporting, it was dropped into a batch of chemicals accidentally, and was expected to die, it was kept alive more as a joke. Ever since then, part of its coat was weakened and dissolved (the white area). It was called 44 because the number 4 sounds like the word Death in China and Japan, and there was already a number 4. However, the project lost funding three years after starting, and all the rebirths had to be disposed of, 44 escaped the massacre because it was already listed as 'unusable'.

That is really cool looking, however I can't quite see it. Do you have any means of getting a better quality photo or possibly a scan?
