iShame and Potato. here with some big news! Because so many people have taken such an interest in our Wild Mountain Equid pairing Caillet and Blanchfleur, we have decided to open ONE slot to the public, ^^.

This is the pairing; and if you are interested in what they have created(along with an amazing artist of course), these are their offspring together; Buttons, Coraline and Floris.

Here's the Rules;

1. No whining, begging, bugging, being rude/mean/negative Etc.
2. There is no limit of How many equids you must own, nor a limit on how many equids you have planned through breeding's or such; and NO; being equidless does not give you a better chance over others to win a slot ^^
3. This slot is to be used with each other; so no Caillet and random mare, nor the other way around.
4. Please only enter if you think you will have the time to finish; I really dislike seeing unfinished forms.
5. You MAY pretty up the form if that is up to your fancy ;3
6. For Art; it can be in any form; traditional, pixel, animation, etc. Extras are allowed as long as you finish them. Unfinished forms will NOT be judged in the end.
7. The foals name must start with C, B or F!
8. The foal must be ordered from Folk.
9. General rule for all Valentine equids; pink in the mane can not be passed on- in case you didn't know ;3
10. If you win, you must be active with the foal and us(ARTT), once it is born! We dont want Cal and Fleur to be grandparents yet; so please wait a bit on that.
11. We have the right not to give out the slot if we are not happy.

Where do I even start? I loved Fleur when she was first made; the beautiful silver contrasting with her dark coat...total dream quid o.o I was going to try out for Cal but had my heart set on another quid. I'm glad tater won him c: I love them both and when they got together I was like dayummmm they're so perfect together! Like Akskdirooak /flops

Why Fluke?
Well my initial idea was to not request the gender and such and have the bab's personality be dark and depressed. The name Fluke reflected the personality-the foal would feel like it was a fluke and would therefore be depressed. As I re-read my form, I decided I didn't like the whole depressed thing but the name Fluke stuck <3 I connected more with her new personality and my entry got hella long xDD

I plan to keep the child a foal forever-it will not be bred nor have a mate. I plan on doing lots of art of my Flukie and spoiling her rotten X3 Her personality is that of a troublemaker-she'll tease Vivian (In the form of sticking her tongue out at the mare then dashing away...Fluke has a death wish o.o) as well as generally annoy everyone and get in their hair mane. She knows when to stop being annoying and is a sweet little angel for Athena and Athena only XD

Fluke loves to play pranks on anything that breathes. She will hide brushes and hoof picks from the stable hands, she'll steal food from other stalls- but that's just scratching the surface. When new stable hands are hired in the farm, their first task is to take care of Fluke. Easy right? Not! When the stable hand gives her a bath she hides something (a sponge, shampoo...) when they're not looking. They drop the hose to try to find it and suddenly they get sprayed by cold water! Fluke had grabbed the hose in her mouth and she'd toss her head to give the stable hand a bath. It's initiation to the team ;) Another prank she's well know for is escaping. She loves to open the lock on stall doors and is very good at it. Once she escapes she frees any other horse (or Equid) in a stall. She once even opened all the gates to the paddocks (except the ones that house mares with foals, she knows they are very overprotective). Imagine the farm owner's surprise when she comes home to Whispering Winds (the farm's name) to find all her equines have been turned loose!

Fluke is carefree and she saunters everywhere, a little ray of sun c: The farm's owner not only shows her in yearling shows but Fluke is also a therapy equid. She loves being able to help anyone and make their day brighter.

She'd be domestic but she'd wander into the wild a lot (only during the day, she loves her warm stall). Because of this she'd meet most of my other herd too (mainly Wilde). Here's what she'd think of those she met:

With Wilde: "She's really fun to be around! All we do is play and laugh."
Wilde is her second favourite WME. Wilde agrees with her on lots of things like apples are wayyyyy better than boring old grass and they shouldn't be a treat but a whole meal! Wilde also understands that staying still=boringgggg. Just keep running, just keep running...
Wilde loves to play so Fluke goes to her when Athena's not in the mood. They have lots of fun together and Wilde visits often.

With Janus: "He's ok, but I'd rather not talk to him."
She knows he means well but child care is not his strong point. She once came dashing towards him thinking he was Wilde (cause they totally look alike, right?) and he just shuffled awkwardly and muttered something about not being good with foals. She's slightly intimidated by him.

With Vivian: "*blows raspberry then books it*"
She's fun to tease! Athena's told her many times to stay away form Vivian but it's too fun to tease her.

With Rocher: "She's nice and knows lots of things. She zones out a lot though...""
Rocher knows lots about nature! Fluke learns something new every visit. The mare's mind seems to wander a lot though and Rocher sometimes forgets Fluke is there.

And one of the most important relationships is the one she has with Athena
With Athena: "Athie! You're the best! *nuzzles*"
Athena is her role-model, best friend and guardian. She practically worships Athena and Athena loves Fluke like one of her own.

This trust was formed a while back when Fleur was pregnant in the roughest of times: winter. With little food and cold nights, Fleur had little energy to feed herself and the foal. Cal tried his best to keep Fleur safe. He found a cave heated by hot springs to keep her warm and he scavenged food for her, often not eating for days to keep her and their foal alive. Fleur was still very worried about her foal and now Cal too was beginning to look very thin. This extra stress did not help either. Fleur never felt the foal kick or move, not even once. Both she and Cal feared the foal had pased but they'd only know for sure when she gave birth. Cal grew increasingly worried as the foal was first a day, then days overdue. Fleur was still too weak to move much and his own strength was failing. Bright lights came from nowhere and a truck crunched to a halt in the freshly fallen snow. Too weak to run, the two Equids stared wearily at the humans in front of them. One held a bucket of *Cal sniffed* food. His ears perked up. The human with the bucket slowly approached Fleur who had her eyes open wide. Cal nudged her side and told her to stay laying down but Fleur was too on edge and she struggled to get up. The human backed away and talked briefly to some other humans behind her. Another equid appeared, a grey mare about 10 years old walked slowly over and bowed her head to show she wasn't a threat. She told both Cal and Fleur that the humans were their best chance of surviving and the couple agreed.

The humans brought them back to Whispering Winds in the horse trailer (Athena was fine with walking). The worst happened-Fleur went into labour while in the trailer. The humans worried for the mare and foal's health because they had no time to do proper prep for the birth. The birthing was hard on Fleur and the newborn wasn't moving. Fleur had let out a scared whinny and worriedly nudged the foal with her nose. No response. Everyone was about to give up when the little filly's ear twitched. There was a flutter of activity as the humans hooked the sickly filly up to monitors and respirators. The still weak Fleur was unable to nurse the newborn but luck was on their side. Athena recently had a foal of her own but it had been a stillborn. She had cried for days after but she was still able to feed the weak filly. The humans stood to the side and let Athena decide what she wanted to do. Cautiously, she sniffed the filly and filly sniffed her back. Everyone sighed with relief as Athena lay down so the filly could nurse. Fleur and Cal accepted with heavy hearts that their new foal (named Fluke because she had survived against all odds) was too frail to survive the wild. They said their good byes and promised to visit often. Athena swore to protect Fluke with her life and Cal and Fleur still visit Fluke to this day.

Fluke's Family
Like any young equid, Fluke loves her parents. She always looks forward to when they come and visit and can't stand still for days before. The suspense is too much for Fluke and she drags Athie along to go see them. On these days, Athena would drop Fluke off at around 8 with the promise she'd return just before dinner is served at the barn. Fluke, Cal and Fleur would swim in one of the many lakes, exchange stories, joke and play games. Sometimes Coraline, Buttons and Floris showed up too and they'd play with each other! Well Buttons would slobber all over Floris who'd yell at her then go sulk under a tree. Poor Buttons would either start crying or she'd join Fluke and Coraline. She likes to lick Fluke for some reason but Fluke doesn't mind. She'd usually lick Buttons back because why not?

With Cal: "-Sneaks up behind him- BOO! Did I scare you Daddy? :D"
Often called Daddy's girl, Fluke loves Cal. She really enjoys spending time with him and looks up to him. She admires his strength and follows him around a lot (she does this too Fleur too but not as much x3).

With Fleur: "I love you Mommy <3"
Fluke loves to lounge in the shade with Fleur and tell ridiculous stories. She loves her mom and tries her best to be good little girl and not worry her too much. She knows Fleur worries too much about her and her strength so she stays strong for Fleur.

With Buttons: "Don't you DARE call my sister dumb."
Fluke is confused as to why others call Buttons horrible words such as dim and dumb. She's just a baby for cryin out loud! Fluke adores Buttons and tries to play with her when she visits her family.

With Coraline: "Can we go chase butterflies? Pleaseeeeee"
She looks up to her older sister for guidance and she asks Coraline questions that she's too afraid to ask her parents. Like "Why do others call Buttons dumb?" Or "Floris doesn't seem to enjoy these visits, do you know why?"

With Floris: "I'm not quite sure..."
Floris seems a little off to Fluke. He comes off as cold but Fluke keeps telling herself that deep down he loves his family.

Well since none of my wild quids are responsible, the Fluke will find her home with my domestic-and very responsible- Athena. Athena would be all calm and manners when talking to Cal and Fleur about adopting their foal. She'd act serious and professional-curfews, teaching manners, making sure the baby eats its greens and not just sugar cubes all day. During this interview she'd smile at Fluke so she wouldn't feel scared of her.
(This 'interview' would take place just after Athena nursed Fluke)

Afterword
I would just like to let you know that no matter what your decision is, I won't hold it against either of you. Ever. I love the couple and will still draw them together even if I don't win (they should totes go on a "double date" with Ferocher because they're both adorable couples. Which also gives me an art idea XD). However, the name Fluke will be retired for me, never to be used again (if I don't win). I simply can't imagine owning another character (quid or not) named Fluke but with a different personality (and/or parents in regards to equids). I've spent too long imaging Fluke as a Calfleur baby for her to be something/someone else.

I'd also like to let you know that all art, personality ideas and stories are original and were specifically drawn/written/created to use in this contest. The art can not and will never be used as colourins for any form of payment or even for myself (deleted all the lines because it was taking up lots of space and made my iPad lag a lot xD).

And one more thing that the two of you might find interesting: the colours in this form were taken directly from the parent's coats ;)

Again if I don't win or if you don't pick a winner, I won't hold it against you and I will never stop coming to your streams c: No hard feelings or grudges, I promise. Cross my silly little heart.

Why do you want the slot
I've absolutely adored the couple ever since it was announced that they became mates! I watched as their two foalies were born and absolutely melted over them! It'd be a dream for me to recieve al Calfleur foal! Plus, Ariel needs a friend to play with who is actually FUN (Evander was a terrible and boring playmate for Ariel when he was born)
Describe how your equid would convince Fleur and Cal to let them have and care for the foal
Well, Zahira would be the main care-taker. A the leader of my herd and a mother of two other foals, Evander and Zula, she is probably the most responsible of the herd, with Oriano being close behind, so he will be helping out as well. When speaking to the couple about adopting one of their precious foals, Zahira will use Ariel, a foal that she has already adopted into her herd and has been the main caretaker of, and her own foals as an example. She would reassure them that they will be able to see their foal as often as they'd like and she would make sure to let them know that she will keep them updated on the important parts of the foal's life. Zahira will explain how the foal will never leave her sight and will always be safe, how he/she will be treated just like the rest of the heard, if not better, with love and respect.

Oriano, being the secondary care-taker, would also speak to Cal and Fleur about his responsibilites and how he will help out. Being the natural equid-pleaser that he is, he will make sure that the foal is always treated fairly. Nothing will ever hurt the foal with him around, or even lay a hoof/claw/paw/whatever on him/her, and he will use all of his effort and strength to make sure that this is accomplished.
Your plans for the foal
The foal, whose gender I have decided to keep a surprise, when it is born, will probably stay a yearling or under for a long while, joining Ariel in her childish fun, and definitely visiting his/her real family often. When the foal finally grows up, I will definitely wait for a while even after that until even considering a possible mate or even a crush. The main parts that I've already planned for the foal's personality will include him/her being a hopeless romantic who's favorite thing to do is catch the attention of the opposite gender. Although he/she is a huge flirt, it will be impossible for him/her to settle down and start a family. He/she will very kind and generous, like his/her father, but isn't afraid to express his/her feelings about what it wants, and if it isn't perfect, he/she will do everything to make sure it is absolutely perfect, as long as everyone else is happy

Describe Cal and Fleurs first date
Cal and Fleur's first date was definitely romantic and special, but it was far from absolutely perfect. It was a date that had been planned for weeks, but they couldn't figure out the right day to have it on. Finally, they decided a time to meet up. It seemed like the perfect evening. The sun was setting perfectly above the horizon, the beach that they met at was beautiful, and everything around them was so perfect it almost felt like a fantasy. Cal, being the nice guy that he is, offered to walk along the shore wit Fleur, and she happily accepted. As they took their romantic little stroll, they talked about their interests and their likes and dislikes, and their entire life, stopping every once in a while to admire the view of the endless body of water in front of them. After their walk, they laid down on the soft sand and cuddled, talking more and more until they practically knew everything about each other. It was obvious that they both had already fallen in love with each other. Too focused on cuddling and giggling, they never took the time to look around at their surroundings as almost black clouds filled the sky slowly, obviously showing signs of a severe storm. After a while, a violent wind sent them collapsing onto their sides in opposite directions, their manes blinding them as they covered their faces. The storm was approaching quickly. As they both staggered to their feet, the wind quickly blew them over again onto the sand. Then, it began to pour harder than it had ever poured before. Standing up and attempting move in panic, Cal and Fleur made every effort to make it to a safe spot in the forest, their bodies absolutely drenched and heavy. The waves from the water nearby were creeping towards them, making it harder and hard to make it off of the beach. They collapsed again onto the ground, a few feet from the nearest tree canopy, and nearly had heart attacks when the first strikes of thunder and lightning appeared, sending them flailing around like dolls, making awful wailing sounds in fear of their lives. Fleur took the first steps to reach shelter, her body shivering with both fear and the sudden cold weather. Call was still laying on his side behind her, gasping for breathe as he felt himself grow weak from his panicing and his attempt to move. Fleur quickly turned around and dragged Cal the rest of the way, both of them collapsing on top of each other when they finally reached shelter, seeking warmth from each other instantly. After hours of being glued together through the storm, it finally passed, revealing the beautiful bright sun again, and a rainbow stretching across the sky. They gazed deep into each others eyes and smiled, sharing a final hug before they had to go their seperate ways back to their herds, promising to each other that they would see each other again

Why do you want the slot I've been admiring this pairing since they been together. I even admired them when they were created.
Describe how your equid(or you) would convince Fleur and Cal to let them have and care for the foal I wouldn't convince you. I would just simply explain to them that the foal would be loved an very appreciated even though it's a breeding doesn't mean it should be liked any less then a foundation. I am a active player. Besides the fact my laptop is broken.. But I am still active while I am at work.. An I can get I trouble for it but.. WMEs are.. Worth it? Right? XD I love the whole family thing an how the names match in a way. I also love how all the foals will come from the same artist because then it connects the foals in a certain way. An I think I am communicate with Poe, Banny an Shammy.. Specially Poe XD <3
Your plans for the foal I want te foal to be very close to it's sisters an parents like an awesome real life family. But that's not up to me. I am not sure about personality or anything like that.. But if it's a mare I like the name Faith.. That's my sisters name a for a 1yo she had a lot of personality but a joyful one unless she's in a cranky mood because then she huffs an puffs. But a Equid based off my sister would defiantly be loved a lot if my equids are based off of a loved one I tend to focus on them a little more (not that I love my equids any less )... An since the foal if a mare (I think I would ask for a mare since so far the other foals are mares an triple sisters are kinda awesome lol) but the foal would grow as my sister grows so you wouldn't have to worry about any foals anytime soon!

Describe Cal and Fleurs first date This isn't any ordinary date. I would love to have the slot as I, and as well as everyone else in the wme community, know, Caillet & Blanchfleur make beautiful foals, but there is only a few ment to be couples in the WME world. As well as a ment to be couple I love how they are so different but fir together like puzzle pieces, but they way they "fit together" is beautiful . <3
Describe how your equid(or you) would convince Fleur and Cal to let them have and care for the foal:

I would not convince Fleur & Cal to let me and my responsible equids have and care for the already known gorgeous foal, but I would assure them, that I am very capable of taking care of a young foal but I will be extra careful for their future foal. As much as I say, it is up to them, as I can not tell them to give me their foal, that would be weird. o.0
Your plans for the foal:

My plans for the foal consist of her, hopping for a daddy's little girl if I do get this amazing slot, being in tons of art but on a regular basis. I would rp with her, look for the one mate for her, and he would have to have all breeding slots with her. I would be giving 1- 3 for adoption and 1 to each parents owner, if they want them, and 1 to me and to her mates owner. If I think that the stallion is not right for her, then he wont be the "one". I really hope that there is a stally that fits to her like her parents. If it is a filly, then I dont know what I would name her. Probably something that explains her personality, the way sh looks, or first impression, I dont really know... It is like not knowing what the foal may look like and you just want to see, as for the name you want to find something that expresses the foal but if you want it to be perfect, you have to wait for it...

Describe Cal and Fleurs first date:

As the night went on, Caillet walked under the moon light stumbling over a hidden rock but catch his hooves before he feel to the ground. He didn't know where he was going, all he knew was that she told him to walk ANYWHERE and if it was true they would meet each other that night. They didn't actually 'meet' each other but they collided and landing on each other. The couple just looked at each other and laughed.

They soon stood up and greeted each other with a simple hug. As they were walking across the plains of dark forest green grass, which felt very silky rubbing against their legs, Blanchfleur started galloping looking back at Caillet signaling to catch up. But he was busy looking at her mesmerized by her beautiful looks, even still able to see as she blended in to the star night but the one spot she stood, as well as the clouds being perfect, the moons shine was her spot light. He finally started to trot over to her and meeting up, he nibbled on her mane. They looked at each other and as they could talk to each other through their mind, they both started galloping at the same pace down the small hill. The wind was against them showing off their strength to each other. The mountains in the background, visible to them but it seemed like the mountains were part of the sky. The slowed down to a slight trot and stopping to lie down. Blanchfleur laid down next to Caillet and watched the stars. After, what seemed like minutes but was truly hours, they seemed a shooting star. Blanchfleur gasped and told Caillet to make a wish. They each wished for something, Caillet asked Blanchfleur what she wished for, and she responded, "I will tell you when it comes true".....

Where to even begin...
I absolutely love this pairing, it's probably one of those "power couple" pairings that no one can help but loving.
These two are gorgeous. I've seen both of Caillet and Blanchfleur's foals when they were born, and they are absolutely divine. The newest addition to the family, Floris, is an absolute babe too. <3 I couldn't help but loving them both straight off the bat, they really seem to have been made for each other. I love their whole dynamic, it really just works very well and fits together like a puzzle, completely and perfectly. Basically, they complete each other. If one half of this pairing were missing, it'd just feel strange and completely wrong for some reason. Seeing these two around make me really happy for some inexplicable reason, whenever I spot them around or people doing art of them it just really perks up my interest right away. I've grown attached to them now, and seeing that one of their potential foals might be raffled off, I had to give it a try.
