Medieval Equestrian Games
The Medieval Equestrian Games is a special horse event that Bayside equestrian stables is hosting! there will be all kinds of fun medieval and fantasy themed classes for you to enter! Just read the description of the class, draw your art entry accordingly, and Post it here along with an entry form!
Rules
- 1 entry per person per class!
- No more than 2 horses per person.
- HARPGers must use their HARPG horses!
- Realistic horses ONLY.
- NO tracing.
- NO copying other peoples art(entries or otherwise).
- Have Fun!

Classes & Competitions
Jousting: Exactly what it sounds like! Draw you/a rider and your horse competing in a Jousting competition! A rider IS required to be drawn and must be wearing some sort of protective suit, whether it be armor or pillows and bubble wrap
You horse is not required to be dressed up, but it is totally allowed! Please keep in mind that the jousting sticks are made of a hard foam material, NOT real metal.
Dragon Slaying: A fun gymkhana event! the horses and riders will enter an arena full of wood cut outs of Western dragons, which have balloons attached to their bodies. The goal is to go around and pop as many balloons as possible with a sort of jousting stick as fast as you can while on horseback. Neither horse or rider requires any sort of particular clothing/dress or equipment.
Located in arena 3
Costume Contest: Dress your horse up in any kind of medieval, fantasy, or castle themed costume! be creative! Drawing a rider or handler is optional.
Located in the indoor arena.
Rescue The Princess: You are to draw you/a rider and your horse runing a gymkhana course pattern including poll bending and barrels to get to the princess(a large pillow in a dress) and bring her back to the finish line! You can make up your own pattern for this one just use legitament gymkhana stuff.
Located in arena 3
Archery: Draw you/a rider and your horse competing in archery! You will ride at your own speed down a path with targets on one side. most of the targets have balloons or they are pictures of knights, thieves, dragons and other fantasy/medieval related beings.
