Read:
Welcome to the Bayside Equestrian Stables Novice Championships! This show(and others to come) will give the artists/riders a chance to place in a show without the advanced artists/riders taking the gold. This show will exclude the advanced, intermediate, and high-moderate artists/riders.
Before entering, you must ask if you qualify as a beginner or low-moderate artist.
Have fun you guys!
(I went with a Jumper show since we have not had one in a while)
Instructions(read closely):
Read the description of the arena and course below, and draw your horse(with a rider!) jumping/approaching/landing/etc one of the fences. Traditional and digital are both allowed.
To introduce a challenge to the learning artists/riders, I have a specific set of instructions on how the art entry should look.
The jump course is set like a novice class that one would enter in real life, so the jumps will not exceed 3 feet.
- the course is in a grass arena.
- the jumps vary from a foot and 1/2(min) to 2 and 1/2 feet(max) in height.
- most of the jumps are long, thin planter boxes with colorful flowers or low cross bar fences.
- the arena is sounded by a white fence with only a top rail.
Tips:
(- rubs are not counted for faults. Faults only include a knocked down rail or refusals or falls.)
- be creative with your entry!
- challenge yourself!
- add a creative element into your entry.
- put effort into your background.
Rules:
- READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!
- only member and boarders of BES may enter!
- only beginner and low-moderate artists may enter.
- if you are a BES boarder, you must use a horse that u board at BES or lease a horse(I am willing to lease out Twisted and Queenie for free for THIS show)
- One entry per person.
- no tracing or copying.
- no picture backgrounds.
End date
June 15th
