Spring Bloom
As the winter fades,
the trees sprout their leaves.
The sun takes away the shades
so the rays can melt the snow.
The chilly wind
and the rigid icicles,
dulls and shatters away
to make way for the bicycles
of children waving good bye.
Good bye, skating ice.
Goodbye little white mice.
The spring is blooming
and so are the flowers that are perfuming.
The farmers are up,
faster than you can say yup.
The starvation has lasted long enough,
no more visible breath when you puff.
