Artist needed for new adoptable oekak!

Postby p i n e a p p l e » Mon Oct 01, 2012 2:01 am

I can't draw on oekaki [laptop broken, via phone] and I really wanted to make an adoptable. I have the species name and image and all that, but I need artists. Would anyone like to become one? Here is an example.
Picture
She's supposed to have many short feathers and one long feather on both sides of the base of her tail.
Her name is Myria, and is the third original. Her mother, Nayiri is the original, and her father, Montezu, is the second original.

The species is called Naykora. That is the singular and plural term. Let me tell you the basic info.
⊙●○·They mate for life and will only have 4 children. ·●○⊙
⊙●○·They can live in most environments, but they cannot live underwater or in the poles·○●⊙
⊙●○·They commonly have black eyeballs and three white irises and pupils. See the head shots of Myria's parents for examples. It is, however, uncommon to see one with a darkly tinted shade of one of their colors. It has only happened once that Naykora has been born with white eyeballs, one iris and one pupil. They have a long, thin eyelash of sorts that grows to the side of their eye. A female will usually have a curled one, and males will usually have straighter ones. Some split in have or more. It is rare to see one with little feathers·○●⊙
⊙●○·They have a long, slender horns that rise almost completely vertically with a slight curve. It is common to see them with at least one string feather sprouting from each horn. It is rare to have two or none, and extremely rare with three. They can embellish their horns with ornaments and sorts. Their horns will only be one color, there will never be more·○●⊙
⊙●○· The Naykora have feathers in some peculiar places. Why they are there is currently unknown. They have feathers coming from their horns, sometimes eyelashes, and the base of the tail. It unheard of to have a completely featherless Naylor. They will always at least have small feathers atthe base of the tail. They can have medium sized feathers and long feathers. Long feathers is the term used to describe the string sprouting feathers. ·○●⊙
⊙●○·All Naylor have a "mane". It is usually straight and be any color possible. It is very rare to have a curly maned Naykora, however, wavy maned Naylor are more common. The tail hair is similar to the mane, in color and straightness. The mane and tail will always match.·○●⊙
⊙●○· The Naykora have many markings, ranging greatly in shape, size and color. A specific kind of marking will never pullover a Naykora's body, but flow into new ones. They will always have atleast two stripes one the tail. The marking colors are usually darker or lighter shades of the mainequality color, with three to five different colors. Markings can be few, or many, but there will never be no markings.·○●⊙

⊙●○·Please note that this species is going through fine tuning. Please PM me with questions and I will answer them and update the page.·○●⊙
