Canter to the Finish~ Inspired by Kat~3211

So, this thread was inspired by Kat~3211 and her post, http://www.chickensmoothie.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=962959. While she's hoarding for cats I'm hoarding for the thousands of horses sent to slaughter each year. Why you ask, would you send a horse to slaughter? Well, it's because in the owner's eyes that animal in no longer useful or the horse has been abused so much that no one will buy it. It just seems wrong, so I'm hoarding these horses/ponies in honor of all of the could have been champions, that were given to slaughter like trash. My goal is to collect 1000 as of today. If I manage to reach that then I might raise it.

News!

I have some new for you, The harness racing industry of america has made it agent there rules to sell there unwanted racehorses to slaughter. If found out, the owner of the horse can never race again.
If we can get all race industrys to do this to, and for people to actualy enforce it, we could save so many horses.

Love it! I am also hoarding horses, but not specific kinds, all of them. I do it for the same reason, for the slaughtered, but I never thought of making a thread, do you mind if I do make one of my own?
