Mistclan lays nestled in a spacious area surrounded by mountain and hills. Much of the area is forest and there are numerous small creeks that come through the mountains. On the north and west sides are the mountains. They are jagged and sharp and there is little to no prey. Cats who dare wander there are said to be able to hear the whispers of Starclan through the wind, although most haven't come back to tell their stories. The mountains are not covered in snow, except for in the cold moons where the creeks freeze up and prey is scarce. On the other two sides, there are gentle sloping hills. To travel outside of Mistclan, this is most often the route the cats will take. They are filled with long grass and beautiful wildflowers. There is plenty of prey including rabbits and rats. However, this territory is fought for by many surrounding clans. While the hills and mountains make it difficult to travel, it makes defending their territory easier, and often MistClan has control of the immediately surrounding hills. Inside the mountain's cradle, there is a forest. It is decently sparse around the outer parameters, but the forest gets increasingly denser as you move closer to the creeks and center. This forest is very giving in prey except for in the cold moons when the prey moves to the hills. There are many small creeks, but two big creeks that could be considered rivers. They come in through the mountains and meander throughout the hills. The mountains bring in cold wind that mixes with the warm drafts from the hillside, which creates the mist from the creeks, and due to being surrounded by mountains, the mist is trapped in the clan, hence the name. The main camp resides in the side of the territory, where a creek is. The creek provides a barrier from the south and on the surrounding side are many fallen rocks that make it hard for surrounding clans to attack. There is a small tunnel through these rocks that Mistclan must memorize, or there is a path up the rocks and back down that is a little more strenuous, but makes for great apprentice training. Near the creek in a small cave in the mountain, which is the leader's den. By the entrance of the forest is a ditch with logs that have fallen atop of it. This is the warrior's den. Close by is the apprentice den, which is a few rocks that have fallen against each other and leads down to a shallow tunnel. Between these two dens is the nursery. It is inside a huge fallen tree surrounded by bramble and prickly thorns. The tree trunk was hollow and about two cats high and 8 cats wide. It was well hidden and an excellent spot for raising kits. Next to the river was the medicine cat, who lived in a cave where a smaller creek came out. There is plenty of space to store herbs and to treat cats, and the moisture from the creek provided lots of herbs. The elder den is also in the mountain near the nursery and warrior dens. In the center of the camp is a large fallen rock that is used for clan meetings. To get more understanding, here are some maps.
