My reincarnation are very complicated, so I'll keep this simple. Yes, I believe in reincarnation. Yes, I believe the daemon stays the same.

Yeah, I believe in reincarnation and I also believe the daemon stays the same. That's why I'm fairly convinced that Les is older than I am, at least in spirit, and wiser as well.

xP I don't really believe in reincarnation, but if I did, I thought it might be something like this: ^.^;

You have your "soul" and you have your "spirit". Your soul is just something which keeps all of your lives, and your spirit is, well.... You, in every life. And in each life, when you're born, a new spirit is created. You might occasionally have memories of past lives because part of your soul is in your spirit with you.

Your soul is, basically, your life essence.... And your spirit, basically, branches off of that. ^.^; Whenever you are reborn, a new spirit is created, but it's still "you". You'd have a completely different daemon and everything, but you're still you.

Even if the daemon did stay the same, you would stay the same, too! And your past life memories would be locked up inside you. Plus, the daemon can access your memories and all that easier, and since it's also a little bit of your subconscious, knows what's right for YOU. So, really, the daemon is not older than you or anything, because it would stay exactly the same, and so would you. ^.^; You just wouldn't have quite the same knowledge of your past life memories as it would. XD

And for past life memories? Well, some people might have more of that "soul essence" than others. They might have more of a soul essence if they still had some lessons they had to learn in their past life, and by learning the lessons in your current life, your past lives will be completed. Some people, such as Otherkin, will have more of that "soul essence" than others, that stays with them all throughout all of their lives. Some other people, however, will have next to nothing of that "soul essence", because they learned everything they needed to know in their past lives.

.... I fail at explaining things. XD But even though I don't believe in spiritual things (MY THEORY, HOWEVER, IS TOTALLY PLAUSIBLE & U NO IT >:D), I still like giving a lot of thought to things I don't believe in anyway. ^.^;

I just haven't come up with a scientific explanation yet. XD

I think once I had a tiny flash of that I was a princess or something in the Medieval times. ^.^; But I was watching a castle or something burn down. And it was just a little split-second flash. D:< NOT FUN TO WATCH!

Well personally the whole "your daemon is no smarter/older than you" thing both does and doesn't make sense to me, because while he's snarky and gets emotional when I do, Les is also mature and speaks to me like a much older, wiser adult. And I have knowledge about things I've never read about; if you give me a moment to think I can give you a genuine answer to just about any question. And I feel like I only have these answers because Les does. But then again, if I have no memories from prior lives, and Les doesn't give me any, then how can that be? I'm just not really sure.

Well, maybe knowledge gets carried from life to life, and stays in your subconscious? Who really knows? :]

Hazlocke speaks to me like an adult sometimes, and also sometimes doesn't. ^.^; Your daemon normally represents the more mature side of you, and when you're a kid, you're definitely not mature, so your daemon has to help you with that. XD

I'm iffy on reincarnation in general. Even if it did happen I don't think your daemon would be the same, because its our experiences that make us who we are. No two lives are exactly the same.

i agree with kiba-wolf. reincarnation is just where the spirit moves one, but it dosn't mean it will act the same. so yeah.

Maybe what they mean is the daemon has the same name? Idk. XD But, yeah, I agree; it's our experiences that shape us and make us who we are, and how our daemons act. ^.^;

You were probably slightly more vain in your past life, though.

XD No, no; I think I was humble. BUT ANYWAYS....

Once, I believed that past life memories could come through genetics! Like, say you had a great-whatever-grandmother who was a princess in the Medieval Times, and she was related to you. And then you had memories of her life! Because some of her memories or whatever would be passed along in your genes. What do you think of that? :3

I get flashes of memories that I believe MAY be past-life memories, but we'll never be sure, I guess.

It's probably just flashes of dreams we had, or movies we watched and forgot about. x3 I may have seen that flash in Shrek, actually, now that I think about it.... I only watched, like, 2 minutes of it since I don't like it, so. XD
