xD I used to have a pet Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She was pedigree but the runt of the litter, so was extremely wide and dopey as anything. My parents got her a year before I was born so she was in effect my big sister and we got along splendidly, as long as I didn't want her ball(!). Neither of us took to my younger sister very quickly, either. Not surprised as she used to pull the dog's tail a lot. Most dangerous she got was when... after filling up the paddling pool, she'd climb in (emptying half the water as she went) and circle the edge of the pool trying to eat the water like some perverse shark. If you tried to get rid of her she growled. xD I miss her loads. She used to watch Eastenders. I think it was because the cast have a similar accent to us so maybe they sounded familiar.
But I get why bull terriers have the reputation they do. They just won't let go for anything if you challenge them. And they're "good" fighting dogs. =(
