It's a bit of a weird and poorly put together question/suggestion about the first post of the thread. Me thinks it sounds a bit misleading? "Our souls manifested as animals" sounds a lot more spiritual/HDM centered then what the majority of daemians think. We really are not. Daemians (for the most part) are like the stinky, no-fun nerd-kids of the animal based interwebs that can tell people/encourage people to say NO, unlike the other few XD.Then again, I never read past the very first post on the first page, so there may be a different explanation XD. "Imaginary animals, which could be considered many things by different people, whose forms can be given meanings by reflecting the human's personality through research and personal analysis"?

Elsbeth changed into a Mongoose today!
I was walking with him down the street to my friends house, and all of a sudden he was scurrying next to me as a Mongoose. He was still grey (like his feline form), but he changed animals. What does this mean? Is Elsbeth unsettled now? Sorry if this sounds n00bish, by the way. >__<

Do not worry! You've not unsettled yourself, and here's why.
Daemonism is actually divided into to parts.
First, there's the "form" part. This is when you match your personality up to an analysis of an animal and if it matches your personality then you may declare settledom, stability, all that jazz. You settle, not your daemon, because settling is about your personality.

Second, there is the "projection" part. This is when you pretend that the internal dialogue in your head is split into two, turning it into a conversation. You may also project the voice coming from an imaginary animal that takes the form of the animal you're settled or stable as. Projection involves one or both of these things to a degree, it's different for everyone.

As your imagination is limitless, you can imagine your daemon as anything, a pot noodle even, because it's all in your head.

What i'm trying to emphasise is "projection" and "form" are two very distinct things, so if your daemon changes form, it says nothing about your settledom, do not worry!

Thank you, Seraph! :D I'm glad Elsbeth isn't changing randomly, I liked his feline form. :3 I'll take that as a compliment, and move on.

I've also noticed that Elsbeth dislikes it when I'm listening to my music really loud. He paws at my ears, and tries to take them off, which he can't... But I don't know why he doesn't like it.
I remember my dad telling me that your ears can go deaf if you listen to your music too loud, so maybe he's trying to tell me something?

That makes sense - you know what your Dad said about loud music (which is true! Be careful with your ears! ^_^ ) and so because you feel bad, you project Elsbeth trying to remove your headphones. It's your inner turmoil about the issue. You want to listen to loud music but you know it might hurt your ears.
