I'm going to try to start a conversation here.

How do you guys feel about talking to random people you meet on games like C.O.D? I'm fine with it as long as you don't give them personal information. I have a couple of friends that are nice to talk to that I've never met in real life.

As for that, I'd say, I have unfortunately never played C.O.D before, but if I did have the chance, I can make friends. I'm just too frightened of the guys that go, 'OH, YOU'RE A GIRL. ADD ME, ADD ME, ADD ME.' or 'PFFT. What are YOU doing here?! get back to the kitchen!' I simply am uncomfortable with that, however, if I did have the chance to make friends like that, I could, just as long as it doesn't go too far.

being a girl on CoD is killleerr..especially if you talk. UGH.
besides that..i've met some really nice girls on there and we talk about what it's like being a girl on CoD and it's awesome. (: but, especially when my boyfriend is in my lobby party, and if a guy is all like, -trying to be sexy voice- "hey, baby. what's up?" he gets all defensive and turns into donkey kong and it doesn't turn out well. it just feels good to kill the guys afterwards. :3 i occasionally just strike up a conversation with someone over random stuff like my emblem or whatever..but besides that, i don't typically talk in lobbies. except in search. search is always fun....
i'm usually in a party anyways. (:

...all my friends on xbox are guys because literally finding girls i know on xbox is impossible and it's frowned upon at my school like girls are expected to go shopping and want to go to the spa and stuff but really as much as i like shopping i've literally been playing cod before and been painting my nails and yeah. :3

I've already downloaded The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (originally on my Wii, but I transfered my data to U earlier on this week). I'd *prefer* Virtual Console games.

Mega, Mega, Mega maaan! Preferably the second one, but I think you can only get that on 3DS, other than that Earthbound! :3 I have no idea of the prices, sorry.

According to ONM, Mega Man games are really hard, and I'm sort of an average when it comes to difficulty in games. I'll still consider that though. I'll also consider EB. (Heck, it seems they had a few sentences on EarthBound in an issue of First News, which is basically a kids' newspaper that has a couple of pages about gaming, among other things.)

I can't post a link right now, but I've been reading this really good Zelda fanfic called More Than an Engineer. I can't wait for the next chapter!

I've noticed some things in the Metroid fandom that tick me off... For example:

#1: People saying Rundas had a crush on Samus. That is 100% false. You can just tell by the body language Rundas looked to Samus as a sister and Samus looked to Rundas as if he was a brother.

#2: People saying Other M was before Prime. No. Just no.

#3: When people screw up the timeline. Its a common mistake, but some people act like they know everything when they are *this* close to knowing nothing.

oh dear god, I hate it when you're expected to go shopping and all that. Sure, I do like shopping, but not what people would 'expect' me to buy. I would try to convince my mom to buy me a videogame or something. I would totally play C.O.D, but probably, I might not be able to.

Hey, has anyone here played Sims? Just wondering. I personally loved the sims since I was a little girl.

i've never played sims personally..but my boyfriend on the other hand l-o-v-e-d it. and he's always encouraging me to get it sometime. not only that, but seeing the fun that pewdiepie had with it makes me want to buy it even more. (:

and not to jump in on the metroid conversation or anything...but my brother all three of the primes and loved them. i, for one, have only played other m. and no offense..but it sucked. not the storyline. the storyline was amazing and i cried, having never even played metroid before, and i fell in love. (: the storyline just completely and utterly sucked. as well as the gameplay. like, where's my final boss, yo? oh wait, it blew up. awesome.
but anyways, my brother, he loves the whole series. we have a few of the older metroids on our wii, but i'm not sure which ones, and i haven't played them. what's funny, is that i know a shoop ton about metroid, even though i never have played it personally.
